Luca listened. "Shhh, it's okay, he'll get better... everything will be okay..." he whispered to her, rubbing her back. |

Laurel shook her head a little, letting him comfort her. "I hope you're right.. He was still unresponsive when I left." she whispered, though the thought that he might not be killed he'd. The nurses had said it wasn't looking good, even if they wouldn't outright tell her. |

"Everything will be okay..." he whispered to her, kissing her hair. "We'll go and visit him tomorrow, okay?" |

Laurel nodded, sighing softly as she relaxed into him. "Thank you, Luca. Truly," she murmured as she looked up at him, her face tear stained. |

Luca smiled at her gently, wiping away her tears with the pad of his thumb. "Rest, darling," he whispered. |

Laurel sniffled and smiled as he wiped the tears. She leaned her head against him once more and let her eyes slowly close as she relaxed and cuddled into him. |

Luca smiled and held her close, flicking off the lights so she could sleep. |

Laurel soon fell asleep in his arms, getting the rest and comfort that she most definitely needed. |

Luca held her, rubbing her back until he too drifted off. |

The next morning Laurel slept in later than she normally would. She was still curled up close to Luca, sleeping peacefully. |
