"Good idea, i'm about to lose my sanity to my own thoughts." Elara mumbled, standing and grabbing her bow.She walked out of the cave and stalked some tracks, eventually her gaze flicked onto a hare. The princess's first instinct was to notch a arrow and shoot it, whcih she did.She walked back to the cave, hare dangling by its ears in her hold.

Sage chuckled in response to her comment, knowing exactly how that felt. He sort of waved her on, and by the time she got back he had a good fire going, and was feeding Liz again. He greeted her lightly, nodding to the fire. "Should be hot enough to cook on now," he noted.

"Nice, i've been hungry for a while." She mutters, sitting down and taking out her knife.Elara skinned the hare and cut it into bites, skewering it on sticks she'd sharpened before roasting it over the fire.

Sage nodded when she mentioned being hungry. "Me too," he admitted. He'd eaten more in the past few days than he had in a while...but that didn't mean he didn't get hungry. Luckily, rabbit cooked quickly and Liz had fallen asleep in his arms, so he could settle her down safely in the corner

Elara handed a skewer to Sage and eyed occasional glances at Liz, smiling slightly as she ate.

Sage took the skewer happily once it was done cooking, eating quickly and then settling down near to Liz but lingering by the fire now that the air was getting colder.

Elara also scooched in near the fire, deciding on taking first watch.

Sage notice her decided to take first watch so he settled down where he was at, letting himself just relax a little bit. Liz would wake soon and be hungry, but for now he could get some sleep.

Elara watched, listening as the creatures of the night ventured out.She could hear the soft pad of paws nearby, -Varys,- She thought, smiling slightly as the hulking figure of the wolf walked into the light of the fire and plopped down, letting out a sigh before curling up under the watch of the stars and Elara.

Sage stayed asleep for a while...which was a hot surprising to him. Normally, if something was moving around nearby and such he'd have woken up. But he felt safe enough here, so he supposed he didn't need to. When he did stir, though, he chuckled softly when he noticed the wolf by the fire, sitting up and stretching. "You can get some sleep," he noted to the girl, sort of scooting over to the fire so she'd have room to lay down in the back of the cave.
