Morgan shook her head, her lips dropping into a soft frown. She wanted to help him... but he was being incredibly vague. She sighed and squeezed his hands, her eyes squinting up at him a little. "Babe, I promise you have nothing to worry about," she whispered gently. He had no reason to worry about her... she wouldn't be in any danger, and he didn't have to protect her. She didn't want him to, really... she wasn't weak, and she didn't need him fussing over her about something that would never happen. "I promise. You know I love you, and I know you'll worry, but I'm not the one in any danger," she whispered in a tone that she could only hope to be comforting. She watched as he made up their drinks, then took her cup happily from him. She went to sit on the couch, curling up into his side. "You know you can tell me anything, I just want to help."

Caleb sighed, laying his head on hers. "I'm going to worry" He insisted, not budging. He was still tired, but refused to fall asleep with her here with him

Morgan shook her head, a soft smile crossing her face as she moved her fingers to weave through his hair. She rested her cheek on his head, a little hum escaping her. "But you shouldn't be worrying enough to be dreaming like you just did, if you do I'm doing something wrong," she told him softly. She sipped at the drink slowly, really just enjoying the warmth of it all. "I'm not going to put myself in danger - I trust that you know what they're like. I'm going to do my best to stay away from things, if you want me to," she murmured softly. She'd always be there when he needed her... and she was going to try and stay away from his parents, but she'd do everyhting in her power to take him away from them.

"Please just stay away when they come home. If anything like my dream happened, I wouldn't be able to live with myself." He admitted, smiling softly at her in comfort. "I love you" He added quietly

Morgan nodded softly, flahing him a soft smile. "Alright," she whispered gently to him. She looked at him for a moment, with wise eyes and just looking completely head over heels. She loved him, and he knew that. All she wanted to keep him safe and happy, and it did hurt to see him like that. To know that someone could hurt a man so... kind. She sighed and moved to lean back on the couch, gently running his hand up and down his back. "I love you more than you could think, babe," she whispered, pecking the top of his head. "Try get back to sleep, hm?"

"I can try, but I don't want more nightmares." He admitted, leaning into her touch with a soft smile. He would at least try to sleep. For her.

Morgan sighed gently to him, and wrapped her arms around his tightly. "Just try. I'll be here," she whispered softly to him. She held him a little tighter for a moment, falling back against the couch, sort of pulling him with her. "You know I've got you. Even if you just rest until you fall asleep," she added softly.

Caleb nodded, closing his eyes hesitantly. He felt small and weak, but placed his head on her chest as they lay there. He took a couple of breaths and listened to her speak. He nodded slightly in response, worry still written in his features, but only vaguely

Morgan flashed a little smile when he settled on her, and moved to run her fingers though his hair carefully, one gently massaging his head and the other hand running up and down his back. She slowed her breathing down purposely, hoping it would give him some form of calm. She rested her head back, holding him close and just whispering that he would be alright, and that she had him and she wouldn't let anything happen to him. She meant it, too... there was no reason for him to be worried like this. She would protect him from anything she could. She soon fell asleep though, not waking up until later the next morning.

Caleb slowly felt her relax as she fell asleep. He sighed, barely hanging onto conciousness as well. He slowly slipped into a dreamless and light sleep, listening to her heartbeat. He woke later in the night, gently dusking out of her arms and grabbing her a blanket. He tucked her in and kissed her forehed before walking into his room and grabbing his laptop. He walked back downstairs and sat beside her, smiling softly at his peaceful girlfriend. He used one hand to type an essay and the other to gently stroke her hair, memorizing the feel of it in his fingers.
