"Night, Kitty." She raised her head to give him a gentle kiss on the forehead, burying her face into the crook of his neck, drifting easily off to sleep in his arms.

Kennedy drifted off to sleep easily that night, when the sun sarted to shine through the windows and onto his face he let out a tired groan and buried his face into Mercy to hid from the sun

Mercy's eyes fluttered open to see the morning light. She blinked in the brightness, smiling as he used hsr to hide. "Sleepy?" She asked quietly, chuckling. She rubbed his back in circles before laying a light kiss on his head. She stroked his hair with her other hand, letting him rest as long as he wanted.

Kennedy nodded his head slightly "very..." He grumbled out in reply to her.He continued to lay there for longer than he intended but he was just enjoying all the affection and was afraid if he moved she would stop. After a long while he finally moved his face back to he could see her, when he did he smiled softly and laid a gentle kiss on her lips "Good morning" He hummed to her softly

Mercy continued to stroke his hair and rub his back as he adjusted. She smiled and kissed him back, shifting so she was closer to him. "Good morning." She said brightly. "Did you sleep well?" She tilted her head at him.

Kennedy nodded his head and brought it closer so their foreheads were touching "Yes very well" He beamed with a smile "How about you?" He asked while bringing a hand up and gently brushing some stray hairs off her face

"Wonderfully. On another note, it's Sunday! So you don't have to work." She smiled, placing a kiss on his nose. "So, what would you like-?" She was cut off by an adrupt knock on the door. Her head snapped toward the door, and she cursed under her breath. "Ehm- Just a moment!" She sat up in a panic. "Oh shit, shit, shit..." She whispered, looking at him and then around her room.
