"Maybe I will..." She warned, not having a clue what that would be, though |

"Maybe I will.." He mused, also not having a clue. |

"Ooh, scary." She teased, curling up against him and starting to drift off |

He chuckled, yawning once as he pulled her to him and nuzzled into her, drifting off. |

Kayla's dreams turned to nightmares as the night went on. "Please....Don't make me go.....No..." She whimpered softly, too deep in sleep to wake from the horrible images flashing through her mind. "You will go! Now!" Caleb yelled, dragging a bruised and bloodied Kayla from the palace into a carriage drawn by a prince's horses. The prince smiled at her wickedly, his face thick with intentions. "Thank you, sir." The prince said to Caleb, Caleb walking off. Kayla screamed and fought against the guards who dragged her into a dark and imposing castle. "Please! No!" She screamed, fighting against her captors |

(just gonna make it seem like hes going nuts but i assure you, hes just fine) Gale fell asleep, but woke up, or did he? He saw figures, all while Kayla remain where she was. They started creeping closer, and he realised who they all were--the most memorable people he'd killed within his lfietime--the ones he'd been imprisoned for the msot. Gale immediately stood, backing away as they started calling to him. "N-no you all are dead...I killed you!" He shouted, the figures drawing closer as they backed him to the ledge. "Come to usssss" They whispered, voices overlapping eachother as he panicked before being knocked off the ledge and falling. His mind faded to black, and he woke up in the arena, Sage was his opponent. "I hear you're afraid of death-now you'll be afraid of me." He warned, Gale backing before Sage came at him, sending his mind into a rabbithole before he awoke-actually this time-and could still hear the voices in the back of his mind, lingering as he stood and ran to the edge, seeing his body wasn't there before going to the nearest tree and sinking to the ground, bringing his knees to his chest as he tried to convince himself none of it was real. "The voices-they're not real, those people are dead. Sage is dead. It wasn't real." And then repeated it over and over, his mind scratching on the edges to which he didn't notice Kayla crying out, still huddled, eyes still wide. |

Kayla wasn't able to wake, now nearly yelling in her sleep, pleading. "Gale!" She screamed, turning her head toward the forest. "Please!" She begged, crying now as she was tossed into a room with the prince, him locking the door.
~ Once the prince was finished with her, she was left bleeding and cold in the room-alone. She closed her eyes and was suddenly back in her childhood castle, her father stalking angrily up to her. "Father....Father, please..." She begged as he smacked her across the face. She flinched and when she opened her eyes, her father's angry and hurtful face turned into Gale's as he repeatedly hit her. "Gale, please!" She screamed |
