Emma woke soon after him, sitting up. "S-sorry" sheeting muttered, getting up. She silently walked to the bathroom and out her hair into a messy bun and walked into the kitchen to make breakfast Edited at September 12, 2025 09:10 PM by Blue Diamond

Ben looked at her in confusion. She hadn't done anything wrong. Why was she apologizing? He "huh"ed to himself and went to his bunk, taking his bag and bringing it to the guest room. He combed his hair and changed, then went to help Emma cook. Edited at September 12, 2025 09:15 PM by Fantasy Horses

(👍) . Ben helped her in contented silence, and began to eat his food. "Any interest in the job yet?" he asked in between bites.

What if she hires a woman and she like tries to hit on Ben or smth??) She nodded. "A few are coming for interviews later" she explained, taking a bite. "Kinda nervous" she admitted quietly

(Yeah that's a good idea! Ooh or maybe she kisses him without permission and Emma sees?) . Ben nodded, glad there were a few at least. "Yeah, I'd be nervous to if I was interviewing them. Speaking of, just let me know if you need me to help, okay? I'm always available." He stood, rinsed his dishes, and went out to feed the horses.

(We love drama. So much drama XD) . Ben finished feeding the horses and lunged some of the more anxious ones, getting out their pent-up energy. He even got Cash to do a trot around him, though the colt was clearly confused. Ben was excited about the young horse's future. He was eager to learn and very promising, if he was taught and ridden right. Ben hoped he could be good enough to teach him well.

lol) Emma went through multiple interviews and only had one woman barely capable. She hired her and the woman, named Summer, moved into the bunks immediately. She smiled and watched Ben. "Nice lookin horse there!" She carried, spooking Cash from his pattern

Ben had seen the new woman as she was given a tour by Emma, remembering his own introduction to the place, and how different it was now. So many things could happen in such a little amount of time, it baffled him. Ben was doing an in-hand trail course with Cash trotting over some ground poles, when Summer yelled and spooked the young horse. He shied sideways, the lead rope slicing out of Ben's hand, burning him. He cringed, looking down at the red mark that was forming. He managed to calm Cash down and finish the pattern, looking at Summer with slight distaste. If she couldn't at least restrain herself from spooking a young colt then maybe Emma shouldn't have hired her. But he trusted Emma's judgement, so Summer would have to do. Ben cooled Cash down and led him back to the barn, grooming the colt until he shone. He brought him back to his pen and let him inside, watching him trot off to update his friends on the day's lesson.
