Morgan slept peacefully for the most part... but the truth of it was that she was just so worried about Caleb. It was clear the thing with his family effected him a hell of a lot. She expected it to, as well . But on top of that, he could read minds. That was pretty fucking cool. Her boyfriend could read minds? Awesome. But she really was worried about the situation. He wasn't safe. She knew that much, at least. He was even scared that they'd hurt her. They must have been pretty awful people to do that. She couldn't imagine her parents laying an unkind finger on her. The weight of it all was stressing her out, so she couldn't even imagine what it was doing to her boyfriend. He was in the middle of it all. But at least he knew now that he could talk to her about all of it. It was easier for her, coming from a family that talked things through, a family that genuinely had a good relationship. Caleb's family... well, they were hardly family. They were the polar opposite of hers. She woke up early in the morning, hearing Caleb's soft whimpers and to him shaking. He was crying, too. She sat up quickly, and rested a gentle hand on his shoulder, gently rubbing it with her thumb. "Caleb," she whispered, though it was a little louder than she expected. "Babe wake up," she added a little louder, wiping the tear from his cheek.

Caleb was unable to wake up, the nightmare keeping his attempts to wake feeble and uneffective. "Nothing, father" He said, brely loud enough for even himself to hear. His parents' thoughts were all anger toward him and violence. His mother sighed in dissappointment as his father striked Caleb across the face. Caleb yelped in pain, stepping back a couple steps and looking up at his terrifying father. "Go. I never want to see you again" His father deamanded, pointing upstairs. At that moment, Morgan walked around the corner and Caleb froze. His father went wide-eyed and walked over to her, grabbing her arm. As Morgan protested against the man's hold, Caleb stayed frozen in terror and waited. "Who the hell is this?!" His father demanded, smacking his face once more. Caleb rolled away from Morgan, still shaking and pleading in his sleep

Morgan just stared at him for a moment, her face written with worry as she tried to wake him up. When he kept on murmuring and rolling around, she took a soft hold of his shoulders to stop him rolling off the bed. "Caleb," she repeated, her voice getting a little harsher as she tried to wake him. "Caleb, babe wake up it's a dream," she told him in a rushed tone, her brows pinched together worriedly as she tried to make sense of all this. She shook his shoulders gently. It was starting to scare her a little now... all she wanted to do was make sure he was okay. He was pleading to someone, asking them to stop and calm down and leave him alone. He sounded so scared. It just hurt her, more than she imagined it was. "Caleb!" She yelped, her hands still firm on his shoulders. He looked so small, shaking and pleading to someone who just wasnt there. She hadn't seen him like that before, and all she wanted to do was scoop him up and make sure he was okay.

Caleb continued to be beat alongside Morgna in his dream, terror coursing through him like a second blood. His shaking slowed and he went quiet, the nightmare rrsiding from his mind. He began to wake, feeling Morgan's hands.

Morgan looked at him worriedly for a moment, her eyes wide but softening when she spotted Caleb waking up, his shaking stopping and he bagan to stop his murmuring. She let out a sigh of relief, her hand relaxing a little as she rubbed her eyes with her hand. She watched him for a moment, her brows still knitted together as she tried to figure out what was going on. Was this normal for him? He'd been fine whenever they'd stayed together before. She wiped his face quickly, pecking his cheek in a manner that she was hoping to be of comfort. "You're alright," she whispered to him.

Caleb's eyes opened slowly, seeing Morgan. He sighed with relief, recognizing it was merely a dream. He sat up, slightly dizzy, and took her in his arms. He held her tight, never wanting to let go and have the risk of his dream coming true. He breathed in her scent, burying his face in her neck. "I love you" He murmured, forcing the nightmare to stay away from his current throught process.

Morgan furrowed her brows softly when he wrapped his arms around her, and ran a gentle hand through his hair, wrapping the other hand around his side. She gave him a soft squeeze, a little surprised at his movement but welcoming it warmly. At his soft movment, she moved to squeeze him again, her eyes soft. She pulled back, wiping his face again softly. "Love you too," she whispered gently to him. She looked him over. His face seemed so drawn, so tired... he looked terrified. She cupped his cheeks in her hand, leaning in to peck his lips lightly, then resting her forehead against his. "Are you alright," it was obvious he wasn't.. but it was nice to ask.

Caleb put on a soft smile, hearing the worry in her voice. "I will be." He said, kissing her again. He sighed, now upset at himself he'd worried her. "It was just a twist of what's happened before, probably because I let myself dwell on it. I'll be fine." He murmured, rubbing her back once more

Morgan furrowed her brows sofrly, and moved to press her lips back to his, her hands still on his face, searching him for anything. He looked so... tired, worried still, despite that smile. She sighed and took his hands in hers. "Why don't we go downstairs, hm? Get a hot chocolate and chill out for a bit," she whispered. "I don't think it's a good idea to go back to sleep when you're like this," she whispered softly. She then raised a brow at him. "You wanna tell me what it was about?" She asked quietly.

Caleb sighed and nodded at her offer. He hesitated, not wanting to worry her more. "It was about my parents....Nithing new, really, but the only problem was you were there and I couldn't protect you." He admitted, looking down and refusing to meet her eyes. He sighed and stood off the bed, keeping one of her hands, and walked downstairs to the kitchen. He grabbed out 2 mugs and hot cocoa powder before making them.
