Sage nodded and thanked her, moving to organize the other paint types he had so by the time she was done he was also done. "I can do the rest later," he noted. "Why don't we get lunch," he added with a glance at his watch

"Sure." She said, but she really wasn't hungry. She moved sluggishly, walking with Sage and for once not grabbing his hand. She grabbed some yogurt and granola, pouring out a tiny amount. She sighed, grabbing a spoon and sitting on the couch. She ate mindlessly, barely awre of Sage moving about. She sighed again as she finished, putting her dishes into the sink and rinsing them. She went and sat next to Sage, hoping she wasn't disturbing him too much.

Sage watched her, and when she only ate a little bit, it really did worry him a bit. He finished his food and sat down next to her with a sigh, sort of feeling her forehead and then wrapping his arms around her. "You feel ok," he asked, tone definitely concerned.

"Yeah." She said, leaning on him. She closed her eyes again and kissed his bicep.

Sage hummed and nodded, resting his head on hers lightly, making a mental note to watch her closely and make sure really nothing was wrong.

Amira's phone buzzed. She stood up, looking at it in horror. She held it out to Sage, staring into space with fear written all over her face. Caller i.d: Luke. Amira drops the phone into Sage's hands, waiting for him to answer it.

Sage frowned slightly when she froze, taking the phone, confused until he saw the id and his face hardened. The damn guy was still trying to call her. He answered the phone, anger evident on his face. "You're either crazy or downright stupid for calling this number," he growled into the phone. Edited at November 24, 2024 07:08 PM by NightClan

"I'd be careful with what you say, pest." Luke said. "Considering you're the one who ran away from a fight."

Sage felt an eyebrow raise at Luke's words. "There's more than one way to win a fight," he mused after a moment, lips curling into a cruel smile even though he knew Luke couldn't see him. "If you were a man, you'd know that," he added.

Amira stood there, hoping they wouldn't be violent with each other. "I'm more of a man than you. She will come running back to Caleb when she figures out he was much better." Luke said. "You are covered in scars, red flags, that indicate you are an idiot and get into trouble. This time, iassume, will be no different."
