Sage chuckled softly in response to her comment. "I didn't make the frosting," he noted in an amused tone of voice. "How could it be my ego talking," he asked, eyes glittering. Of course, when she mentioned the faces could use more definition, he sort of wrinkled his nose with a groan. "We're just gonna eat it," he huffed, half pouting at her. All in play, really. "And I'm fuckin hungry," he added, moving to grab a knife from the counter. He rolled his eyes at her last comment, a hum riding in his throat. "Just because you think I taste good, doesn't mean everything I touch tested good," he teased her lightly. "It could be absolutely terrible." He was obviously just messing around... All he'd done was crack a few eggs for it. Edited at November 24, 2024 12:30 PM by NightClan

Jora raised an eyebrow at Sage’s playful response, crossing her arms as she leaned against the counter. "Mm, sure, Sage," she teased, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "You didn’t make the frosting, huh? I suppose that makes you a bystander in this whole 'baking' ordeal." She shot him a pointed look before glancing down at the frosting again, the edges of her lips curling into a sly grin. "Yeah, yeah, 'we’re just gonna eat it'—but you know as well as I do that if those faces looked more like actual faces, you might not be able to resist showing them off a little," she teased, watching his exaggerated pout with amusement. Her eyes followed his hand as he reached for the knife, and she couldn’t help but smirk. "Hungry, huh?" she repeated, her tone light. "Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret. If this frosting was as bad as you claim it might be, you wouldn’t be reaching for that knife like it’s your lifeline." Jora’s gaze flickered to him, her expression a mixture of challenge and humor. "And for the record, if you think I’m the only one who thinks you taste good, well... you might be underestimating your charm." Her grin widened as she leaned in closer, almost daring him to say something. "But hey, I’ll let you keep pretending you're a disaster in the kitchen if it makes you feel better."

Sage had move to just whack Jora's arm lightly in response to her teasing. "I cracked two eggs, that was my entire role," he noted with a laugh. "How it tastes is gonna be up to you," he added with a grin. "Though you taste pretty good yourself," he hummed, sliding her body a glance up and down, mostly just to remind her they were, in fact, not done. "This is frosting, not paint," he noted after a moment. "You try doing exact detail work and let me how it goes," he added with a slight huff, but he did move to add in a few more details quickly. "I'll eat anything at this point," he noted with a light huff when she teased him about reaching for the knife so quickly. "As tasty as you can be, you are not going to fulfill physical hunger," he added with a chuckle. "Other hunger yes, physical hunger no," he noted with a chuckle, moving to slice the cake and hand her a piece before taking his own and moving to sit on thecounter again as he ate it, eyebrow raising at her next comment. "I'm all too aware of that," he noted. "I'm afraid they're going to have to find some other poor victim who actually enjoys their advances, because I'm all yours," he added with a purr.

Jora couldn't help but roll her eyes at Sage’s little quip, though she had to admit, the mix of teasing and charm always got to her. She leaned back slightly, a smirk tugging at her lips as she caught his glance, but she quickly refocused on the task at hand. "Oh, you cracked two eggs? Very impressive," she teased, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she grabbed a handful of frosting and began working it into the cake’s edges with a little more precision. "I suppose I should be grateful for your culinary expertise then," she added, her tone shifting to playful mockery. She caught his eye again as he slid her that glance, and for a brief second, she let herself entertain the thought. Physical hunger, huh? It was cute, how he thought he was so clever with those half-joking comments. But honestly, he was right. "As if I could ever compete with actual food," she shot back, though the teasing note in her voice softened as she took the cake from him, her fingers brushing against his. She didn’t look at him as she spoke, but her lips quirked up at the edges. "You’re right though. I’m definitely a lot better at fulfilling other... needs." When he purred at her, her heart stuttered for a brief second, but she didn’t let him see it. She took a slow bite of the cake, her eyes never leaving his as she chewed thoughtfully. "You might be all mine, Sage, but you’re not the only one keeping other people interested," she shot back, raising a brow at him, lips still teasingly curled. A lie, yes, but Jora thought it was fun to see how Sage would react. "Guess you're not the only one with admirers," she added, letting the words linger in the air between them as she ate another bite, watching his reaction closely.

Sage had rolled his eyes when she teased him about the eggs, but she'd moved on by the time he could come up with a response, so he let that be. He let out a hum as if in thought as she mentioned fulfilling other needs, nodding along slightly and he nibbled at the cake, purposely going slow this time. Now she'd have to wait for him to be done. "I suppose you do do that well," he hummed. She knew all too well how much he liked it...the noises and movements she pulled out of him spoke for themselves. But he could still tease a little bit. Of course, at her next comment, his eyebrows shot up into his head but he threw her an amused look. "They're obviously not important, if you decided to move down here with me," he noted with a sort of chirp, taking another bite of the cake he was holding. It was pretty good...and he was hungry, but he was going to make her wait for him. He was just going to do it. He had one bite left by the time she'd finished her cake, and sort of played around actually eating it, to just get her impatient. Want him more. He'd even gone as far to raise the fork to his lips and thenn put it down again as he said something. Soon enough though, when he could see she was on the verge of breaking and just grabbing him whether he ate it or not, he popped it in his mouth and set the dished to the side. eyes glittering.

Jora leaned back in her chair, one eyebrow arched at his slow, deliberate movements. He knew exactly what he was doing. The way he hummed, the way he made that cake last longer than it had any right to… it was almost too easy to read him. Of course, she’d noticed the little things—how much he liked when she made him wait, how his eyes always sparkled with that smug little glint when he could get her riled up. She could practically feel the playful tension hanging in the air between them. She smirked as he took another bite, nibbling at the cake like he had all the time in the world. The tension in the room was building, and she could see the edge of frustration creeping into his movements, his slow deliberate gestures almost too controlled. It was clear he was savoring not just the cake, but the feeling of holding power over her. The thing was, Jora wasn’t easily rattled. She’d learned long ago how to play the game, but now? Now, she was getting curious. "Ah, so you think moving in with you means that I’d drop everything else?" she teased, giving him a knowing glance. The sharp edge of his comment about priorities only made her want to poke the bear just a little more. "Funny," she continued with a languid stretch, "I thought you were the one who said it wasn’t about what I needed, but how I needed it." When he raised the fork to his lips, then set it down with that smug little twinkle in his eye, Jora couldn’t help but laugh softly. Her lips curled up into a teasing smile, but it wasn’t the kind that promised an easy answer. No, not yet. She let the silence stretch on, watching him slowly finish his cake, letting him savor each bite as if it were the last one he’d ever get. Then, when he finally took that last bite and set the plate aside, she leaned forward, eyes gleaming. Her voice was low but playful as she said, "Took you long enough." The glint in her eye promised a little payback for the wait, and this time, it wasn’t the cake he was going to be savoring.

Sage enjoyed their little bouts of teasing, he really did. No matter who won, he got what he really wanted in the end, and so did she, so win or lose, it didn't really matter. But...it was fun to tease her a little bit, which was exactly what he was doing. She knew it, and was playing along, though he knew she was just as impatient as he was. He sort of looked around with a hum when she said she might not have left everything behind, and then looked back at her with a chuckle. "I don't see any other men out here to sleep with," he noted. "And I doubt you'll find one that lets you fuck him rather than the other way around," he added, eyes glittering. She'd got lucky with him, if that's what she liked...and she did like it. When he finally set the plate down and she spoke, he could see the light in her eyes, promising him payback. It sent a funny feeling writhing through his stomach and down his spine. He wasn't going to show ehr that though. No, he could control his beathing. He sort of leaned on his arms from where he was on the counter, in a somewhat suggestive pose, cocking his head at her slightly. He knew what he was doing. "And what exactly do you have planned now," he purred. "You gonna punish me for being a bad bioy and making you wait," he added with a fake pout, voice definitely husky. He was just as ready as she was to get him on the floor again...but he was gonna make her work a bit this time.

Jora let out a throaty laugh at Sage's teasing words, her eyes sparkling with mischief. Oh, he was so predictable - and yet, she loved that about him. She sauntered over to where he sat on the counter, hips swaying enticingly as she moved. Her voice was low, teasing, every word dripping with the kind of confidence that came from knowing just how good she was at this game. "Punish you?" she echoed. She let her eyes trace the line of his body, slow and deliberate, making sure he could feel the weight of her attention. "I’m just curious," she continued, her tone taking on that same husky edge, "what kind of punishment you’re thinking of... because I’ve got a few ideas myself." Her lips quirked, pulling into a playful smile.

Sage felt a thrill move down his spoine when she laughed, eyes dropping to her hips as she moved towards him. He had to force his eyes back upto meet her gaze as she neared him, his own grin resting on his face. He noticed her eyes move along his body, deepening the blush that was already there considerably. He swallowed hard, forcing his breathing to stay steady and body calm, though his pulse was pounding already. It was stupid how even just a simple glance could scatter his thoughts so much...and how much he liked it when she did that. "Well, if I come up with it, it's not a very good punishment, now is it," he mused, grinning back at her, tone definitely daring. He shifted slightly, keeping for focus on...certain points of his body, knowing how she ached for him. He ached for her too...she was so close, words practically telling him what she wanted. But he wasn't going to just melt into her arms this time...she'd need to work for him a little bit this time. "I think you'd better explore all of them so I can pick which one I like the best," he added mischeviously. They had plenty of time now, after all.

Jora prowls closer, slowly like a tigress hunting her prey. In this case Sage was her target. She let her nose brush against the male of his neck. She smiles, sucking on his neck as her hands moved to his belt, swiftly undoing it. She removed it with one flick of her arm, pushing him down. She pushed his hands up above his head and used the belt to tie his hands together. "Now bad boy, tell me to stop if it gets too much for you" she tells him, stroking the side of his face.
