Before sage even knew what was happening, it was his turn to talk. Address the judge. This was it. Everything rested on his shoulders and his ability to communicate the evidence. He took a deep breath and began to talk. He'd rehersed it to the mirror all day...he hadn't eaten or slept in almost two days. This would be over soon though. Soon, he could leave. Go home, where everything wasn't quite so complicated. For now though, he just focused on talking. Eventually, he was done for the moment, and they called Ally up to tell her side of the story.

Alleyah's breaths came out shaky, her body trembling as she made her way to the stand. She took a deep breath and began to explain everything that happened- how she was moving and how Marc randomly appeared and when Destiny disappeared. She voiced the times of each event and when she was arrested. When the man asked questions, she answered as honestly as possible. When the judge spoke, Ally was silent. She looked over at Sage, her eyes wide, when the man questioning her tried to corner her. "You say Destiny disappeared, correct?" He asked. Ally nodded. "Yes, sir" He grinned. "And you didn't think to look for her?" He asked. Ally shook her head. "She had a tendancy to leave without warning or just run off and be back later, so I thought nothing of it." She answered honestly, her eyes finding Sage's, a silent plea in her eyes. The questions, she knew, were meant to corner her, but she was completely innocent in everything that she did that day.

Sage sat there tensely as ally answered the other man's questions. She was nervous...but she was doing a good job. He offered her a small smile when she glanced over at him...hoping it would reassure her at least a little bit. It wasn't long after that they'd brought her back to her seat, and they were just waiting for the jury's decision.

Ally was shaking when she sat back down. She let out a relieved breath and looked over at Sage. the small audience behind them began speaking quietly and she could hear snippets of the converstaions. "She's definitely innocent" "How could they have locked her up for so long?" "I think she's gunna be set free" Alleyah shrunk in her chair, her eyes drifting around the room. "Thank you" she whispered to Sage, putting her hand on his upper arm for a second before letting her hand fall back into her lap, a small blush creeping onto her cheeks

Sage let himself collapse into his chair, glancing over at ally and nodding in response to her comment, offering her a small smile. The judge came back in to give them the decision, and he let out a relieved breath when he agreed she'd be set free. Good. She deserved it, and now he could continue with his other plans.

Alleyah's face lit up and happy tears gathered in the corner of her eyes as she was set free. She would have to leave Dale though, and the thought saddened her. Dale had liked her for so long, and now she would be breaking his heart. And Grant. Old grumpy Grant. Ally's face fell slightly as she thought of the two men who had been in the cell across from hers for the entire two years she had been in prison. What was she going to do without them? Hundreds of questions sarted to fly through her head. Would she get back into softball? Would Alabama be willing to let her study there again? Would her mother actually have a spot for her?

Sage just took a moment to close his eyes, calming his thoughts. Good. She was free. But... He'd have to say goodbye to her now. The thought your at his chest, but he didn't have much of an option. They had to blow the place. "Let's get you rest to head out," he finally murmured, gesturing for her mom to come over and explaining the next steps. "Well get anything from your cell, and anything the prison has of yours. To can say bye to anyone you want, and then we're getting you out of here."

Kelly practically jumped on Ally, hugging her tightly. "Lets get you home" SHe said, relief scratching at her voice. Ally nodded then looked over at Sage. "Are you coming to my cell with me?" She asked, her voice softening, her eyes pleading for him to join her. This was most likely the last time she wouls see him, so she would have to force herself to part ways. That was the only thing she was going to miss- surprisingly long wallks with her favorite guard.

Sage looked over at Ally when she asked if he'd go with her, and nodded. "I can," he agreed softly, moving to stand up and gather their things they had needed for thr trial. He handed them off to whoever needed to keep them, and then moved to walk alongside her as they walked towards her old cell. He would miss her, but there was no way they could keep doing things together. He wouldn't be here much longer...in fact, once she was gone, he was planning on blowing the place up. He'd already delayed too logn becasue of the trial.

Ally stared at the ground. "Who are you going to watch over in my place?" She asked, a slight tease in her voice. "Because no one could ever truley replace me" She grinned. Her eyes betrayed her dying happiness, so she looked away, her smile fading. "We should meet up some time after I get settled" She offered, riskig a glance at Sage
