Alexa ran up beside him, "no.." she said peaking down the stairs, "let's explore it!" She said jumping down one of the steps

Tyler yelped. "Don't-" he managed to get out as Alexa jumped onto the step. The wood, rotten and old, immediately gave way and fell into the blackness. Tyler lunged down and just barely grabbed Alexa's arm before she did, too. He pulled her back up out of the pit, glad he was close enough... and glad his hand didn't give way. He had a problem with his wrists... and if that showed up then... Alexa would Ben at the bottom of a who knows how deep of a pit. He looked at her, worried. "Are you okay?" Tyler asked, glancing into the deep, dark chasm that now had no steps

Alexa stared at the deep hole, she then turned to Tyler, "T-thank you" she said, her arms were shaking,

Tyler glanced at her. "Don't mention it... all I ask is you don't go jumping down a dark staircase filled with cobwebs next time." He smiled, peeking down the dark chasm.

Alexa nodded and moved away from the hole, she sucked in a shallow breath before moving towards her bed, she sat down on the rim of the bed, "so what do we do about the hole?"

Tyler snorted. "I have a hunch. Follow me." He said quietly. Tyler stood out the door, going down the stairs and around to the back of the castle. He went down more stairs... then down more stairs. Finally Tyler opened the door to the dungeon. He walked inside, going to the right down a long hallway filled with cells, then walked into a small room at the end... and aha. There was a small box of light, fifteen feet above, and some rotten stairs laying on the ground. Tyler smile triumphantly.

Alexa followed Tyler, "are we here yet?" She groaned, Alexa looked up at him, "why are you smiling?" She asked completely confused

"I found where the stairs lead." Tyler answered. He moved out of the doorway so she could see

"Oh, what a terrible place, I thought it would lead us to another world or something" she said, clearly disappointed,

Tyler looked at her with a raised eyebrow. He decided to ignore that, walking forward. This was a passageway for a reason... he glanced at the walls, running his hands along them. Tyler found a small indent. He pushed it softly, heard a click, then another door swung open. This time the hallway was filled with unlit torches. Tyler walked back, grabbed a lit torch from the main dungeon, and came back forward. "Well... this is our time to explore." He said quietly, moving forward cautiously and lighting each torch he came to. The tunnel flooded with light
