Sage was admittedly really quite surprised when the girl kissed him, but after a moment of silence he got back into his head and kissed her back happily. "I care about you too," he told her. "And I care about Annie too, which is why I need you to trust me on this," he whispered, eyes glittering knowingly. "I've been doing this my whole life...I can make a scene...get Annie and get out, and I'll slip away and meet you back at the campsite," he whispered.

Cassandra nods and said " okay but if I don't see you at the camp in hour I am coming and I won't be happy " as she looks at him before pulling out her sword and said " you might need it some of them fight with swords and it depends on who they choose really " Cassandra looks at them before looking at him and said " be careful "

Sage chuckled and nodded slightly. "Alright," he hummed. Then he shook his head at the sword. "You'll need it more than me," he told her. "besides, I can fight anything with this old thing," he chirped, patting his dagger. "I'll be alright," he promised before turning and following the captain to the ring he'd be fighting in.

Cassandra watches him go before sighed and walks away looking for a place where they might hold Annie away before finding it and walks towards before quietly calls out " Annie " Annie looks out and siad " mama " as she ran towards Cassandra and hugs her Cassandra kisses her cheek before hugging her and picks her up

Sage followed the captain into the ring and then waited calmly, leaning against the edge of the fence around the ring as his opponent came. The other man was large...much larger than he was, and showing off as he entered the ring. He looked like a mountain, indestructible and huge. But every man had a weakness. And sage was quite good at finding them and using them to break his opponent.

Cassandra walks out of the soldier camp with out them noticing then got Annie to their camp and place her down and she paces with her sword out ready to run back and save sage from danger but then she had to be patient on that even if she wanted to kick some butts

Sage waited, leaning against the wall of the fence calmly, before the bell sounded to begin the fight. He'd seen Cassandra get Annie out already, so he sort of just kept at the man as soon as the bell rang, killing him with one blow. The quickness of his win started a riot, which allowed him to easily slip away. He went back to the campsite quickly, a few scratches and bruises but nothing much. One on his cheek and another on his lower lip, and a few others along his torso. Nothing too severe though.

Cassandra looks around before hearing Annie cry and when to hug her close to her and said " is okay I won't let anyone hurt you I promise " Annie said " you sure mama it very dangerous out there " Annie hugs her mom close before looking and seeing sage before saying " sage you back " as she ran to him to get a hug from him Cassandra looks at him and smiles he was back no longer having to worry

Sage smiled over at Annie and wrapped an arm around her happily. "Hey kiddo," he murmured. He only used one arm because the other shoulder had been cut, and hurt to move a bit. It was a deep cut, but not deep enough for stitches as far as he could tell. "I'm back," he agreed with a slight chuckle before looking over at Cassandra and smiling. "Like I told you I would be," he hummed lightly.

Cassandra shakes her head before saying " take your shirt off " as she grabs her back and pulls out medical stuff then said " I won't take no for a answer " as she smiles and watches him before Annie giggles and walks away sitting down watching then closely
