He shook his head slightly. "Demon have stronger skin and other fighting perks, which means we all need a weak spot. A spot that doesn't have all of those special powers... somewhere that's kinda like an Achilles heel. If we get hit there in battle it's game over, there's no defending yourself from something touching it." He grinned sheepishly. "You just found mine" |

"Ohhh I see..." She said playfully so... Right here...?" She said brushing a teasing finger along his chin where she'd kissed before "Good to know..." She giggled "How about we have a shower and get something for breakfast? I'm hungry..." She admitted sheepishly. |

He closed his eyes briefly when her finger trailed along his skin and shivered. When he could talk again he opened his eyes and nodded. "That sounds like a good plan," he admitted. "He was hungry too...the only thing he had eaten in the past few days was the meal she had made him eat last night." |

Max smiled and took his hand giving it a gentle tug before she got up out of bed "You coming then?" She asked with a smirk as she headed for the bathroom. |

He laughed and slid out of bed with a nod. "Yeah, I'm coming I'm coming " he followed her into the bathroom with a smile still plastered on his face. |

Max giggled and kissed his knuckles when he joined her. After their shower Max was in some fresh clothes and was now doing Sage's eyeliner "It really does bring out your eyes a lot..." She admitted. |

He chuckled. "You're the artist so I'll take your word for it." He had decided that the ripped jeans were comfortable to wear around the house, and the tank top was also comfy. He left the leather jacket hanging on a chair, he didn't need it inside. |

Maxine smiled "It really does..." She told him happily kissing his forehead. She was in a T-shirt and some overalls that were shorts only these ones went paint stained (Yet) she smiled and grabbed a sketchbook and a pencil after she braided her hair slinging the single braid over her left shoulder before she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror on the back of the hotel door giving a gentle sigh as she put a hand on her stomach giving it a gentle yet loving caress before she looked over at Sage smiling "Alright do you wanna go down to the cafeteria?" She suggested happily. |

He chuckled and nodded, shooting her towards the door. "You go ahead. I'll be down in a minute, alright?" Once she had gone out the door, he waited for a moment to make sure she was really gone and then sat down on his bed and put his palm out in front of him, fingers flat. Red and black smoke curled around his hand and when it disappeared a small ring was left in his hand. It was gold with a small, shiny gem that was black with cool looking red streaks in it. He was thinking about proposing , they were going to have a child together and she obviously loved him. Besides, they were bound. He wondered what her reaction would be before slipping the ring into his pocket and going down to the cafeteria to join her. |

Max smiled and gave a nod "Alright I'll wait for you to order though... If I can." She chuckled before kissing his cheek and heading off. When she sat down there she caught all the smells smiling as her stomach grumbled "Wait for dad at least..." She said gently before she sat and began to sketch, she found herself thinking a lot about their child... She drew plushies... A crib... And some other things there was a proud smile on her face as she sketched humming a bit. She noticed a couple with their little girl and chuckled "So cute..." She murmured as a server came and gave her a glass of water "Very..." She agreed with a chuckle "And by the looks of you and your sketchbook congratulations are in order it seems!" She chirped Max looked up at her "Is it that obvious?" She asked blushing "Mhmm you've definitely got that motherly glow." She chuckled "Besides it's not hard to figure out seeing what you're drawing." The server giggled. |
