He chased her around, and once he started running out of breath he gave a last lunge and grabbed her, but then they both fell into the fort and landed amongst the blankets inside. Ellie was partially on top of him, and he blushed slightly. He was laughing though - their small game had been fun.

She blushed hard putting hair behind her ear she looks down at him smiling she pants softly from running around.

He lay on the blankets panting. "You're just as hard to catch as the fish the like to hang in the river by the cave," he chuckled.

"is that good or bad?" she got off of him and leans against the wall sitting down.

He chuckled and sat up. "Well considering the kind of people that live out here I'd say that's pretty good." He grinned. "Besides, it makes chasing you more fun for me," he joked.

Ellie laughs softly and lays her head on his shoulder "I really like being with you.." she cuddled up to him happily.

He chuckled and wrapped an arm around her. "I like being with you too. Makes life a whole lot better if you have someone you can trust."

she smiled happily "yes it is" she clung to him

He sat there for a while with her before he had a thought. "Hey, let's go swimming in the lake. It's hot out today."

She sat up a bit "sure" she smiled softly and slid off the ledge.
