He shook his head, quietly for a moment. "Isn't there a spell or magic healing or...or something we could do for them? Even if it just takes some of the pain away during or after morphing?"

Celeste shook her head. "No, but they can take pain meds once they're old enough,"

Sage sighed softly and nodded. 'i guess so," he noted. Then he frowned. "That nurse wouldn't know anything more that could help, would she," he asked

Celeste shook her head. "She's not a healer," she explained softly. Only healers knew healing magic, she wasn't one.

Sage nodded biting his lip with a sigh. "Maybe we should find one," he noted in thought. "Even if it's just to help the kids out."

Celeste nodded. "They're rare..." she sighed.

Sage pursed his lips with a nod, moving to rest his chin on his arms. "I know. But we could pay well," he noted. "Especially if we take care of the empress ...she likely has one on her hands," he pointed out

"She hoards them. That's why they're so rare,"

Sage nodded with a snort. "Which is stupid, since vampires are pretty much immortal," he pointed out. "But even more of a reason to take her out."
