Anya sat quietly for a little bit, but it did take a slight bit longer for her to get her breath back again. Once she did, though, she was content to just curl up into Sages arms. It'd been a little while since they'd actually gotten to relax... but it wasn't exactly a bad thing. It was mainly because of Att, and could never be classed as a bad thing. She'd actually rather grown to like the boy, despite the short space of time he'd been in the castle. But, she also loved Sage, with all her heart, so it was nice to spend a bit of time with him even if it was quiet. "I think you won that one," she chuckled softly, her head resting just beneath his chin as she got comfortable.

Sage chuckled and nodded slightly. "Just a little bit," he said in an amused tone. He'd tease the girl about it later...being here with her, warm and cozy was nice and he didn't want to ruin that. Teasing was fun, of course, but that could come later. They didn't have too much longer to lay around and just be comfortable together, and he wanted it to be like this for as long as physically possible before going and getting Att. He loved the boy, of course, but Anya was different...and he loved them both so much.

Anya hummed softly at the boy's reply before pressing a light kiss to his collar. She then wrapped her arms a little tighter around his side to get comfortable. They might not have too long left, but that didn't mean that they couldn't make the most of it. "I reckon it's about time you got a win under your belt," she whispered softly before pulling the blanket up and over their heads so they were in the dark and nestling into the crook of his neck.

Sage chucked and nodded. "I suppose so," he chuckled. He curled up closer around the girl when she pulled the covers up over their heads. It was nice ...dark, warm, and pretty cozy. Normally small spaces sent him into panic mode, but this was enjoyable. They'd done it before, and he'd always enjoyed it. It had surprised him a bit the first time, that had hadn't freaked out, though maybe it was just because Anya was here and he felt perfectly safe with the girl. Either way, he really enjoyed their time together. Hopefully Att would sleep through the night soon so they could cuddle up at night at least every now and then without him having to get up and feed the lad.

Anya settled down next to the boy and curled into him a little, gently running her hand along the back of his neck in a comforting kind of way. She knew he wasn't exactly comfortable in smaller places like this, but he could get away if he was starting to feel claustrophobic. She did wonder if Atticus was alright, or if he'd managed to crawl out of his crib again. It'd be alright, as long as he hadn't managed to get himself hurt. The nursery was safe enough, though, so she was sure he'd be fine for a little while longer until Sage could get to him.

Sage smiled when he felt the girls hand start rubbing up and down his neck. He knew the girl was plenty aware of his claustrophobia and other issues, and that all she cared about was making him feel safe and comfortable....and he did feel comfortable with the girl. Sometimes, when the nightsows or flashbacks got out of hand, he'd freak out but he still trusted the girl...still felt safer with her than without. But it was so nice of the girl all the same. And besides, it did feel nice. Att could definitely stand to wait a few more minutes.

Anya gently ran her fingers up and down his back for a couple of minutes before quietly stopping and sinking deeper into their little cuddle. It was so strange... how just his presence could make her feel so comfortable... even though he was the one who generally needed her to relax, she found a kind of peace with him... a warmth and safety, something that out of all the years living in the castle, she'd never really felt this way. Sage was the one who made her life a bit more... well, exciting. He'd put her in danger, but he'd gotten her out of it so many times, and she could only love him more for it.

Sage was more than content to lay around for a bit, really it was almost a half an hour later before he sighed and whispered "I should probably get going" to Anya reluctantly. He wished he could stay here forever...but unfortunately he had responsibilities he couldn't just cop out in, and so did Anya. He pressed a light kiss to the girls head with a sigh, lingering for a bit longer before forcing himself up and over to the bathroom to find his clothes, which he'd tossed somewhere without a second thought earlier.

Anya gave a soft sigh when the boy announced his leave, giving a type of soft groan in response. But, he'd have to see Atticus and make sure he was alright and make sure he was fed before he went to sleep. She closed her eyes before sitting up and hugging the blanket over herself as she watched him wander towards the bathroom. When he reappeared, she gave a weary smile and beckoned him over so she could press a light kiss to his cheek. "Go make sure your baby hasn't trashed the place," she hummed with a gentle chuckle before settling back down in the bed.

Sage chuckled and pecked the girl on the forehead after she mentioned Att. "Right," he giggled. "I'll see you later," he murmured before slipping out of the girl's room after making sure no one in the hallway could see him. He walked fast on the way back to the nursery, and let out a sigh of relief when he saw Att in the corner of the room happily playing with his feet. He scooped the boy up and blew a raspberry on his neck, the boy squealing with laughter. Sage chuckled and held the boy up to his chest to bring him back to his room. The boy cooed and wrapped his arms around Sage's neck happily, so sage kinda walked so the boy bounced around for a bit to entertain the lad.
