"Get out," he said sternly and angrily. "Get out. Now."
| |

"Please, sir" Kai said, tone begging
| |
| |
"Get. Out," he growled, Lorelei started to cry.
| |

"No." He said, placing his arm around Lorelei's waist. "She is my world and carrying my child, you do not get to bark orders at either of us. Nothing will ever make me leave. She asked for a child and I gave her one with the promise to be there so if you have a problem with your grandchild growing inside of her, please, be my guest to be upset, but do not order either of us around."

Her father paused, rather surprised he stood up for himself. "Leave us for a moment. I need to speak with my daughter, privately."
| |

Kai glanced at Lorelei, worried, looking for her approval to this request. "I'll leave if she wants me to. I'll step out, but my wife has to tell me so"
| |
| |
Lorelei turned to him with a sniffle, she nodded. "Its okay," she whispered.
| |

Kai hesitated but nodded, standing right outside the door
| |
| |
"Is this really what you want? To have a child? With him?" her father asked. Lorelei was hurt at his words. "Yes, dad, I wanted to have baby, and I want Kai to be the father. He's my husband, I love him and I want a baby with him,"

Kai chewed on his lip, worried
