Duncan ate silently, slipping food into his pockets. After, he brought them back to his room, placing the food onto the table.

Axel had worked on sketching out the landscape he'd seen the night before, from the sky. He'd enjoyed flying, a lot ....he'd felt free, in a way, despite being attached to Duncan. He'd honestly sort of liked the excuse to be so close to him, too, though he felt a bit guilty about that since he knew Duncan was shy about it. When he set the food down next to him though, he chirped a "thanks," to him before setting down his pen and starting to eat.

"Yeah, of course," he murmured, smiling weakly.

Axel just curled up into the chair, silently eating what he had on the plate. It didn't take him long, but he also didn't want to bother him or make him more embarrassed.

Duncan wandered over to his bed, flopping down and curling up, tired. He felt bad he was so embarrassed about everything...

Axel frowned slightly when Duncan just curled up, letting out a sigh after a few moments, moving to cross the room and sit down on the edge of the bed. Not directly next to Duncan...he was giving him some space ....but he was there. "Wanna talk about it," he asked after a moment. He didn't have to, but if he wanted to, Axel was here.

| |
"...talk about what?" he asked, cocking his head.
| |

Axel sort of lifted his shoulder in a shrug. "Anything," he noted mused after a moment. "I just....you look like you're thinking hard about something," he added. "I don't want you upsetting yourself over anything or...whatever." He wrinkled his nose then....it didn't sound as eloquent as it had in his head, but oh well.

Duncan shrugged, "No, I'm fine," he lied.
| |

Axel frowned slightly, not really believing him, but nodded anyway. He didn't want to push. "Alright," he noted after a moment, leaning against the bed frame and glancing out the window, kind wandering to other things.
