(All good lol) . Iris couldn't help grinning back. His smile was just so contagious and charming... 'Ack, focus!' She thought, trying to act casual as well. There wasn't a doorframe for her to lean against so she settled on perching on the edge of the bed. There was a beat of comforting silence until Iris realized she wasn't being a good host. "What am I thinking? Come in!" She ushered him inside and closed the door behind him, apologizing for the mess. "I was not ready to see you," she muttered, tossing a sweater into her closet. Her room, in fact, was quite clean. Much more than Caden's. The only things out of place were a few school textbooks and the pair of shoes she'd worn earlier that day that she'd forgotten to put away.

Caden eyed the room, sinking in the details which were complete opposite of his dorm. Neat, organized, clean. No laundry on the floor, not trash on the desk. Impressive. "Must say, I need to take notes. Compare your room to mine and wow, big diffrence." He mused, chuckling---the sound full of life and joy, per usual.

A small blush rose to Iris's cheeks but she pushed it down. "What can I say? A clean room helps me think." She paused, then asked, looking down at her socks. "Did you mean what you texted? About not needing tutoring anymore? Because I'm okay with that if you are. The headmaster always has more people that need tutoring..." She didn't admit it, but the thought of stopping the sessions with Caden and starting up with someone else felt like... Well, it kind of felt like giving up. Even if they were still friends.

"Nope, only sent it since I thought you'd think opposite reverse uh... what's the word again? Brain stuff? Not thinking but like, the study of it. Reverse that word," He mused, studying the changes in her expression. Afternoon light illuminated the room through the open blinds, casting lines of orange light onto Caden.

Iris looked at his explanation of the word, confused. "What do you mean?" She tilted her head at him, trying to think of what word he could be thinking of. The light from her window cast shadows throughout the room, the few beams of light just happening to land on Caden. It made him look as if he were in a spotlight, the only important thing right then.

"Y'know like the uhm, you call somebody a psycho and it has that in it but I don't know what it is." He clarified, looking over at her to see if she would know. The sun's rays danced along his skin, casting his bones in a deep warmth which was especially comforting after having gotten rained on walked to her dorm.

Iris smiled, getting it. She snapped her fingers in victory as she exclaimed, "Oh, psychology! You were trying to use reverse psychology!" She grew quiet, realizing what this meant. For one, it had worked. She wasn't sure if she wanted him to come back, but after that text she sort of realized she did. For two... Well, it meant he did still need English lessons.

"Bingo!" He laughed, the sound echoing off the walls before quieting down. "Reverse psychology, thats the term." Caden noted, nodding. "I defanitely do still need lessons, forgot what a coffee was the other day."

She smiled again at his words, realizing how happy he made her. It truly was good for her to have friends. She hadn't thought about it before, but her life had been a lot happier after she'd met Caden. And Kinley... She'd have to see about Kinley. She was definitely a prospect, but Iris was a little worried about her. Caden, however, she trusted immensely. She wasn't sure why. But she did. And that was really all that mattered, right? Iris remembered his text again and asked, "What... What would you have done if I agreed and stopped tutoring you?"

Caden rubbed his neck out of habit, something he always did during confrontation or stressful moments. "Well... i'd probably crawl back to you eventually, can't go too long without you---torture basically." He chuckled quietly, casting his blue eyed gaze back at the woman.
