Adne dipped her head in a nod. "The right wing, and your room will be the first on the left. Mine is the second." She explained simply, turning right as they hit the top of the stairs. He could think whatever he liked about what just happened, but it was a courting tradition She couldn't just... drop. Especially not when her mother was watching from two stories above.

The elf followed a couple steps behind her, still reveling at the glorious grand hall and still startled by the kisses. He'd mostly decided it was a custom considering it hadn't happened when Larach was with them. The rooms were a little farther from the staircase this time but he liked this side better aside from the neighbor he wished he didn't have.

Adne simply led him to his door, leaning against the wall beside it. "Your room." She drawled, stretching out. "Make yourself comfortable, get settled. If you're up for it, meet me out in the garden once you're ready." She shrugged, giving him a slightly sarcastic bow before she made her way to her own room.

"Yes madam." He answered, bowing his head and walking in. Similarly decorated to his previous, he liked it. He didn't really do any unpacking. Rather he laid on the floor and rested in silence for a few minutes. Then he greabbed his bow and quiver. Down the hall and outside. He wandered down the green paths, far fewer blooms now as summer was started to come out to play. He could feel it getting warmer.

Ariadne made her way back to her room and kicked her heels off, giving a small groan. She had been wearing them for hours, since the delegation meeting began, and as gorgeous as they were- it was a relief to take them off. She walked them into her closet and made work of changing- into some new attire she had found a few weeks ago. She had been fraternizing with a foreign emissary to a war-centered nation- an ally of Epirus- and voiced her struggles with clothing. While women were more independent than most in Epirian culture, showing skin was still considered scandalous and slightly taboo. Particularly among the lower ranks, but it worked it's way in nearly everywhere. So, as a gift, she had been given something much nicer to roam around in during her free time, as well as a few dresses she was itching to try out. The one she had just changed out of was one of them. By the time she left her room and made her way out to the gardens, her hair was in a braid crown, a slightly coronet style. Her shirt was closest to a navy tank top, as we would call it today, and a pair of black shorts. Even in the midst of summer, she preferred darker tones. She made her way easily out into the garden, inspecting what looked to be a fruit tree of some kind while she awaited her company.

Other than wearing no shoes, he wore plain looking clothes. The elves seemed to be much farther from fashion than the Epirians. Few elves cared to dress up lest it was required. It took very little for him to get fancy and he liked it that way. He noticed her from a little ways away, standing somewhat behind a bushy plant. He put his archery equipment down and strolled up to her.

Ariadne turned her head to look at him as she heard the soft clatter of wood against the stone pathway. She took him in with a single glance. "Hello." She said pleasantly, turning back to the tree and taking a few steps forward. She continued staring up at the fruit tree, eyes settled on a singular Epirian plum. She gauged for a few more moments, then sprung up and grasped it, twisting her hand and then... returning to the ground fruitless. She shook her hands off and cleared her throat, letting out a small breath. Take two was... also a failure.

Tadhg watched curiously, she seemed a little occupied. He stood almost motionless other than his eyes as he watched her miserably struggle to snatch the goodies. As funny as he found it that she continued to fail, he moved under the tree, pulling his sleeves up slightly. He seemed to have two tanned bands around his arms, discolored skin on his forearms. He reached for the branch that came just barely into reach without him having to get on his tippy toes. He brought it closer and took the plum that she'd been reaching for, off. He offered it to her and released the limb gently.

Ariadne, perhaps for the first time, flushed as he came into view, huffing a little bit. She didn't have the most cultivated of muscle masses and, it sufficed to say she felt equivalent to a steamed dandelion. She cleared her throat quietly, willing the red to die from her cheeks and her breath to even out. She jumped for a plum a couple of times and she had an elevated heart rate- pathetic. Rather than focusing on her own misery, she studied the elf in front of her as he reached for the plum, swallowing quietly. She noted the pale bands on his arms- it seemed from prolonged periods of time with something covering them. An accessory of some sort, maybe. She cleared her throat again as he turned and handed her the plum, taking it quietly. She studied the fruit like it was quite elaborate before she glanced up for a half second and gritted out the polite response. "...thank you." She muttered quietly, walking quickly past him so she could lean against the tree and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Or, lack thereof. She stared firmly at the fruit in her hand as she took a bite. This wasn't quite how she had wanted to start out the day- and yet, here she was.

The elf nodded quietly, taking in the fact that this may very well have been the first time she'd been at a loss for words. Embarrassed even. He bit back a grin when he noticed her rosy cheeks. He turned more fully toward her. "Last time I was here, you took me behind your manor. Excuse my curiosity but if I am not wrong, you have archery targets?" He suggested, figuring she had noticed he brought a bow, he tilted his head. And guessing she wanted to do something other than wallow in the tension.
