Kennedy shook his head at her dramatic behaviour but he wasn't going to complain about it, he found her behavious funny and somehow cute. He kissed her back gentle before asnwering "Whatever you want to do, we could go to sleep, or go back to your place, or... Well as long as I'm with you I don't care" He said to her before placing his head on top of hers with a small content sigh

"I say we head back to my place. I want to show you my room. Will your mother mind that you're gone?" She asked, reaching her hands up to gently muss his hair.

"Mmm probably not but I'll just double check with her before we leave" He replied before humming and dipping his head low so she could mess with his hair more. Just then Lillie walked back into the room "I got the reciepe for you sweetie" She said holding out a paper for her and was totally not surprised by the two being close together Edited at June 26, 2023 11:23 PM by The Ghost Barn

She jumped back from him as she heard Lillie's voice, flushing tomato red. "Oh- I- Uhm- Yes- Er- Thank you." Mercy stuttered out, glancing at Kennedy.

Kennedy stifled laugh at Mercy reaction, he pulled her back close to him this time with a firm hold so she stayed close "Mom would you mind if I leave for the night?" He asked her while running a hand through Mercys hair. Lille smiled at Mercy "Of couse glad I could get it for you, and yes that'll be fine for tonight" She nodded before going to walk out of the room "Goodnight you two, please make smart decision" She joked with a small teasing wink to the two before disappearing

"Goodnight mom" He chuckled at her last comment but admittedly huge blush raced across his face. "Lead the way m'lady" He told Mercy as he followed her closely and quickly out of the house and to the stables where he readied Monty and quickly mounted holding a hand out for her

She jumped up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist and kaying her head on his shoulder. The sun had just set, and the last tinges of red were now fading from the darkening sky. She looked out and admired the landscape.

She grabbed his hand and rushed off through the gardens, grinning. "Come on, lets go!" She pulled him along and into the castle, up a few flights of stairs and slowed in front of a door, panting. She caught her beath and squeezed his hand gently. "I present to you... a royal's bedroom." She opened the door and lead him into a large room with a wall full of windows that faced the sunset. The walls were painted a gentle, unintrusive blue. There was a large, mahogany dresser and vanity, with a matching desk that faced the window. There were a few book shelves scattered around the room, but what was immiediately noticible was the bed. It was large, with a matching mahogany frame, and a canopy. The canopy was semi-tranparent white silk, tied up at the moment. "Well... what do you think? Its a bit extravagant, I know, but at least I dont have a dreadfully large picture of myself on the wall."
