Sage watched the horse trot away with a chuckle, and did his usual squeak when the girl splashed him back. He cocked his head slightly when she ducked under the water, and frowned slightly when she didn't come up. She was a strong swimmer ....and she was still moving....so she was alright, right?

It had been five minutes and Quinn was still under. She tried not to giggle so she could hold her breath longer. She hung onto the seaweed strands at the bottom of the river to prevent herself from floating back up

Sage huffed out a breath and let his breath out so he sort of floated down to the bottom so he was eye level with the girl. He was worried, but didn't want to show it. He crossed his arms and raised and eyebrow at her as if saying 'really?' in a joking manner. She seemed fine, so that did reassure him a bit, but still.

Quinn half csnickered as Sage floated down. She pushed off the bottom, swimming back up with ease. "I faintly got you to come down." She teased, laughing. Quinnwas only a little short of breath. She stretched, bobbing under as he hands raised out of the water. "I didn't even know you knew how to sink!" She joked

Sage bobbed back up to the surface and shook his head slightly, a rather amused chuckled coming from his throat. "You're awful," he huffed, though playfully...he wasn't at all mad or upset. Just....relieved she was fine and he wasn't just watching her drown or something. "It's a breathing trick," he hummed. Then he shrugged sheepishly. "Plus the denser bones because of the whole werewolf thing help," he admitted.

Quinn laughed. "Well I'm glad you know how to sink... you never know, someday you might need it." Quinn, made a face, trying to think of a time you'd EVER need it. She shook that thought off, grinning as two shadows flitted over Sage. Suddenly two buckets of water got dumped on his head. Quinn guffawed. "I didn't do anything!" She teased, swimming backwards

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "Maybe, though I rather doubt it," he hummed. "Just makes swimming a bit more dangerous," he mused. He yelped in surprise when the water landed on him, and he swam after the girl, laughing. "Yes you did," he complained playfully.

"I did nothing! ,y hands weren't even in the water." Quinn chuckled, sending a wave of water into his face. "THAT was me." She snickered, diving under and disappearing into some thick seaweed

|
Sage snorted and splashed her back after she splashed him. "You're so mean to me," he joked, continuing to chase the girl. He was a bit slow in water...denser bones meant swimming took more effort and he wasn't as fast. But he could splash her still.

Quinn vanished in a patch of seaweed. She lingered there for a second then shot back up to the surface, knowing Sage would probably never catch her. She laughed as she saw Sage powering his way up through the water. Quinn looked down at her slim figure and immediately thought, "Well I guess it's good for one thing. I'm aerodynamic." She snorted, wading water with gentle waves
