Kai pursed his lips and glanced away from her. He felt guilty enough that he'd said no, but he had a good reason for it then. He didn't need her reminding him.

Camery huffed out a breath, leaning over to him and placing a light hand on his cheek before pecking his lips softly. "I was joking, babe," she whispered, offering a gentle smile. "Whatever the case, we'll end up pregnant at some point... hopefully. Hopefully soon, too," she hummed.

Kai smiled and nodded. "We'll have our family,"

Camery nodded lightly to him, a soft smile across her face as she went to palm her stomach quietly. They had more than enough time. If they somehow got pregnant by the end of their honeymoon, well that was great. If not, they'd keep trying and hopefully, eventually, they'd end up with the family of their dreams. One that loved eachother unconditionally, one that held eachorher up without a second thought. She smiled at the idea of it all... it almost seemed too good. She sighed and leaned in to press another kiss to his lips. "I hope so," she mumbled.

Kai smiled and kissed her back, settling his hand on her belly. "Our little eclipse,"

Camery glanced up at him, a grin growing across her face. It was unheard of for something like this to happen... for the day and night kingdom to fall in love, for them to stay together like they had. It was perfect. That they had was perfect, in every way. "This baby is going to be important, you know," she whispered softly. "You know how much it's going to mean for... we'll, everyone? It's so special," she added with a small smile.

Kai smiled, "I know," he smiled. He sighed and started, "We have a few traditions for royal kids here, during birth. We don't have to do them if you don't want," he told her.

Camery smiled over, then sort of cocked her head at him. "Yeah? Like what?" She asked softly. They had a few traditions in the day kingdom... when their babies were born they'd be so bright. Blindingly so, quite literally. The weather would warm right up, and it would be bright around the kingdom for nearly two days after, even at night. So, of course, they had to put things in place to stop people from getting hurt, but that was it really... nothing crazy.

"I am supposed to deliver the baby," he explained. "For the first 24 hours, it's just supposed to be the parents who touch the baby, or they won't be considered an heir or a royal," he explained. "And I'm supposed to paint a star on their forehead with the ashes of our ancestors. If the ashes stick, our ancestors approve of the child and they are destined to be a good king or queen,"

Camerys eyes widened slightly, and she just stared at him for a moment. "You... what?" She asked slowly. Not what she was expecting, and she wasn't sure how she felt about a twenty one year old delivering her first child. She liked the star thing... it seemed fun if nothing else, and she did want to get involved in the traditions over here. She sighed slightly, and nodded slowly. "Kai, don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure how I feel about you delivering the baby," she mused. "I mean... what if something goes wrong? Oh god, Kai, nothing can go wrong," she murmured worriedly.
