He snapped, voice laced with some venom. The man saw a horse approaching and grabbed the inside rein, yanking it into a opposite direction before darting away. |

Gale was going strong when he felt a blinding flash of white hot agony on the back of his neck, and in his leg. The impact almost sent him to the ground, barely catching himself as he darted into a cave, finding a deep point and pushing Kayla against the wall, pressing himself against her as they hid in the shadows. "Not a single goddamn word." |
