Nate smiled, getting up too. "Ready to go?"

Dakota nodded, standing and stumbling a bit

Nate went right over to her side, making sure she didn't fall. "Here, I've got you,"

Dakota smiled softly at him, weariness in her eyes. Hunter got up and walked to Dakota, his pajamas still on. "Good morning, mama"

Over the next few weeks, Nate thought about everything. She had been so upset sometimes, and he felt so guilty about it. One night, after Hunter had been put to bed, Nate turned to her. "Did I ruin everything for you? Do you regret it?"

"What? No, you didn't. I'm messed up, you've saved me. Baby, don't you ever think otherwise" She said softly, walking to him and cupping his face. "I love you so much. You didn't ruin anything"

"... but when I met you... you were so happy, even though everything that had happened, you were still happy, but now..."

"I honestly don't know what's happened... I love you and Hunter so very much but...It feels more pressuring to be a perfect mother and wife. You are not the problem. I'll try to be happier, I promise."

"No. No. Don't you dare say that. This is not your fault. I should've noticed you would be stressed and pressured to be perfect,"

"Well it's not your fault and it sure as hell isn't Hunter's" Dakota said, dropping her hands
