Once he'd gotten out of his room, sage went straight down to the doctor's office, looking around like he was hoping he didn't see anyone. Well, he really didn't want to see anyone but the doctor, so he supposed that was a bit normal of him. He slipped into the doctors office quickly and quietly before knocking slightly to alert the doctor of his presence before practically collapsing into the chair as Atticus giggled and flopped his arms and legs around happily, as if Sage being exhausted was some sort of fun game. Hopefully the little guy would stay this happy while the doctor did what he needed to do. He gave the doctor a tired smile when he looked up, muttering something about how he'd definitely improved because otherwise he wouldn't be crying every two hours. Or something along those lines ...his brain really wasn't quite up to speed yet.

The doctor spun around in his chair when he heard the knock at the door before giving a slight smile at the boy, along with the giggling child. "Why are you so tired?" he asked the boy in amusement before beckoning the boy over to pass him the baby... he only really wanted to check the child's heart rate and temperature. He seemed a little more upbeat today, so the man only suspected the baby to be getting better as time went on. He quietly listened to the child's heart rate before looking up at Sage... he had spotted the marks on his neck the day before, but they were a bit darker now, and the man found it amusing, to say the least. "Other than picking up this guy, how was your picnic yesterday? Good, I assume," he hummed as he put the stethoscope down and picked up a thermometer and took the child's temperature.

Sage handed the boy over to the doctor with a huff. "I don't know if you're making that joke because you know what it's like being kept up all night by an adorable little gremlin or not," he half groaned. Then he gave the doctor a poker face when he mentioned the picnic. "It went... surprisingly well I suppose," he muttered, hinting at what the doctor already had (probably) figured out, as well as the fact that he hadn't snapped. At least not in a way that was....bad. Like, sure, crying sucked, but at least he didn't go crazy. (Sorry I haven't been on much. Work has been crazy and a crazy warehouse is...not so fun lol)

(Dw! I've been out today so haven't been on either.) The doctor nodded before putting the thermometer down and then jotting something in his notebook. In truth, he was still very amused by the whole Anya-Sage thing, despite his initial dislike for the whole thing. "Little man's all good," he shrugged before handing the boy back to Sage. "Keep on with those supplements, and milk little and often and he should be alright. His temperature isn't so low anymore, so I'm not too worried," he noted lightly. "Take him for a walk or have Anya do it and put him down to bed... then get yourself to bed. You need to be functioning properly," the man ordered. He did think that the baby was fine, but, in the case that something went wrong, he did want Sage to be aware enough to run him over to the ward again.

Sage grunted and took Atticus back from the doctor with a nod. He knew enough about caring for children from Lizzie, but he did think it was a good idea. But, Anya had already watched the boy more than enough, and she was probably busy by now. And he didnt really trust anyone else in the castle...well maybe Charlotte, but she needed to be watched too. He liked Luther, but...the guy didn't seem to be all that great with children. He eventually decided to go find Charlotte and her parents, since he did want to say hi to the girl anyway. He found her pretty quickly, and luckily she saw something in his arms and didn't leap at him. She still ran over to give him a big bear hug though, then stared at wonder at the baby before looking up at Sage and asking "did you have a baby with Anya?" The idea was so rediculous he just started laughing, though he soon pushed it back to just a chuckle. "No, he's not mine, kiddo. Im just helping him out a bit." She grabbed his hand, saying something about how he had to "say hi to mommy and daddy" so he followed the girl tiredly as she tugged him along.

Anya, a while after she'd gotten her mother to agree to let the child stay, went on about reasons it'd be good... trying to get the woman more up for the idea, she supposed. She'd only reluctantly agreed, so the girl wanted her a little more... elevated about the whole thing. Eventually, though, the Queen got bored and shoed the girl off, saying that it was all fine. Anya stood outside her door for a moment, a little lost as to what to do next before deciding to go and annoy Luther... the boy was meant to be training, and that was generally the best time to bug him... in front of everyone.

Sage followed Charlotte over to the kitchen, where her parents were still sitting around talking and eating. He'd noticed that the royal family took significantly more time to eat than anyone else ... probably because more words were coming out of their mouths than there was food going in. Whatever, he didn't really care. Charlotte dropped his hand once they got to the table and ran over to her parents, squealing that "Sage had a baby! Look!" To her parents. Sage chuckled and greeted her parents with a tired nod since his hands were full of, well...Atticus. "he's not mine, I just found him," he briefly explained to her parents before they could think of anything bad.

Charlotte's mother looked over at her husband with a rather... concerned look when Charlotte came running in, screaming that Sage had a child, but it quickly became more relaxed when he mentioned the child wasn't his. It wouldn't have been if it was, but he hadn't exactly left the castle for a long while... so if he did all of a sudden have a baby of his own, then someone in the castle was likely to be its mother. Well, it was that or the boy had gone out and robbed a poor woman of her child. She cocked her head slightly at the child, who by now had stretched his hands out before curling back up again. "You found him?" The question came from Jasper, who by now was standing up and peering in at the child. His tone was a little demeaning like he didn't quite trust the boy, though that wasn't the case. He actually rather liked the boy, though, and that was mostly because Charlotte did.

Sage plopped down in a chair with a sigh and nodded. "Mommy was a bit ripe, and daddy was probably gone too," he explained, trying to tell the parents what had happened without really letting Charlotte know...she seemed a little young for the story he had. "I figured I'd try and get him to a decent home instead of starving in the slums road," he muttered. "Though, you'd think hed been spoiled rotten as often as he wants to eat through the night," he chuckled. He still didn't have the best relationship with Charlottes parents, and he wasn't all that sure if Jesper even liked him, but he was willing to try and make a better one with them, if for Charlotte and nothing else. But he did like her mom, and he could grow to like jasper too, if he gave him a chance.

Edith furrowed her brows ever so slightly at the baby before looking back towards Sage again. "Poor thing," she murmured before shaking her head. They'd probably know someone who would be fit to look after a child... though, none of the royals were likely to take a child on. It'd be bad publicity for the family if anyone found out. Though... there might be some well-off maids that'd take him. Most of them had decent housing and good pay, so they'd possibly have the child. They probably knew a few older couples who'd take good care of him too. "We might know some people. There's a small formal in the next few weeks, I could ask around..." Jasper trailed off before looking towards his wife, who gave a reassuring nod. "You could come along yourself if you'd like. Make a couple of connections," Edith added with a light smile.
