Rose got up once he'd left and walked upstairs. She curled up on the bed with a sigh

Caden showered,thinking about,well,everything.He tossed his dirty clothes in the hamper before taking off the necklace with the keys,sighing as he did.he set the necklace on his nightstand,lying next to Rose.

Rose stayed where she was, thinking about Luke

Caden put his hand on her thigh. "Are,you ok?"

"Yeah" She half-lied, tucking into his side

"No,I know you better then that and you're not ok.What's wrong?" He asks again,this time his first stronger.

"Luke." She muttered. "If you ever go away for that long again, he'll find out and come back. If you hadn't came home, he would have done something. He's hit me before, he won't stop and think about it before doing that again"

"And next time," He pauses,the words not sitting right on his tounge. "Next time im going to be the one who pulls a gun first."

"Please do. You've got my permission to fucking hunt him down and kill him" She said, her tone serious

"Okay." He says,standing and throwing on a shirt.Caden went to grab the keys,letting them sit in his hand as he set them down,sighing.He shook his head and went into the closet,grabbing a pistol and rifle before heading downstairs.
