Sage looked over at Anya and nodded. "Sure. You want me to bring anything back?" He handed Atticus off to Anya before standing up. Once the girl responded, he leaned over to peck her on the lips before slipping out of the room. He headed down the hallways in the direction of the kitchen to see what they had to offer. He'd bring Att back to the doctor's after they all are. He'd eat quick and then feed the baby, then they could go. He did wish he hadn't gotten quite so attached, just a little bit, since he'd have to give the boy up, but he didn't regret picking him up off the streets. Maybe he could help someone, even if he'd failed Liz. It kind of let him feel better about the whole situation.

The girl shook her head at his question before chewing the inside of her lip. "But can you bring him some more milk? Make sure its warm," she murmured before offering a little smile at his peck on the lips. She took Att from the boy willingly and watched him leave before getting comfortable on the tiny couch. She pulled her legs up to her chest and leaned the baby back so he was leaning against her knees. "Atticus," she chirped in a silly voice before gently poking the child's side. Atticus squealed and bubbled at her, giving a tiny little laugh. Anya could only grin as a huge smile lit the child's face up. The tickled his side a couple more times, making a silly noise like 'Eeek' or alike, which earned her another few joyful giggles, and all Anya could do was chuckle back at him. So maybe the boy wasn't so bad... but that wasn't her concern, rather the fact that Sage would get more attached to the child... when they found him somewhere nice to stay, she didn't want the child to miss out on a good home because Sage couldn't let him go.

Sage kind of wandered around for a bit before sliding into the kitchen to gather up some food and some warm milk for the baby. The cooks seemed tense, but less annoyed than usual...maybe because he looked too tired to do them much damage. Whatever the case, he was in and out quickly, and sped walked back to Anya and the baby. Well, it was more of an exhausted waddle that was an attempt to speed walk, but really was a fail. He nibbles on an apple on the way back, but planned on keeping snacks in his room so he'd have to leave as little as possible. Besides, no one had mentioned the marks on his neck, and he kind of wanted to keep it that way. He came back soon enough, grinning when he saw Anya playing around with the little lady in her lap. He plopped down besides her with a yawn and leaned his head against her shoulder before offering her a bottle of warm milk for Att.

Anya played with Att for a little longer... happily tickling him and blowing gentle raspberries to his stomach. The child just laughed at her, which just made her grin. When Sage came back, her eyes got a little brighter, and she placed a soft kiss to his cheek once he sat down next to her. "He's adorable!" She chirped, an almost exited tone in her voice. Well, more surprised than exited. She leaned into Sage a little and took the bottle from him with a grin before shifting Att around so he was being cradled in her arms. She offered the child some of the milk, and he latched on to the bottle almost immediately... she was happy to feed the child while Sage relaxed.

Sage let out a tired breath once he sat down again, and admittedly started to drift off once he relaxed a bit. Anya had Att, and everything was fine ...and he was really, really tired. He supposed he could stand to gain a few more hours of sleep, right? The boy was healthy enough....he didn't have to get to the doctors office because of any great need. They could head over there whenever he woke up....there was no reason to have to go any sooner. And Anya seemed content with the boy for now. So really it was no issue. Part of him didn't want to, after what happened with Lizzie, but this boy was healthy. He'd be fine. Sage kind of felt himself drifting off slowly, leaning against Anyas side with his head on her shoulder, kind of just curled up in a ball against her.

Anya smiled softly when Sage curled in next to her... she was kind of sandwiched between the baby and Sage, so she'd just accepted that she wouldn't leave until the boy woke up again. That was fine, she was happy to wait a little while... and Atticus was relatively happy now that Sage was back. The girl shifted one arm to wrap around Sage and tightened her hold on Att with the other. It might be a couple of hours, she supposed, but she was comfortable and didn't have much to do until later, anyway. "Love you," she hummed gently to the boy before pecking a light kiss to his cheek.

Sage really only barely heard her voice, and he definitely didn't respond ..he dimly heard her as he drifted off. He slept for a couple of hours before forcing himself awake again, though he stayed curled up next to Anya. He was, honestly, a bit surprised she was still there...though he supposed it did make some sense. So really it didn't matter and he kind of shrugged the thought of before yawning and unfurling his arms and legs to stretch before curling up again. "I'll go to the doctors in a little while," he murmured tiredly, though he did feel better than earlier. Even a few minutes would help at this point, if he was being honest. But he did love Att, and he was enjoying caring for someone again.

Anya looked over at the boy when he shifted again, though she seemed exhausted too. At some point, Atticus had started to cry again, and after a little while of refusing the bottle, Anya did get up to walk around the room, gently patting the boy on the back as she tried to get him to quieten down, so that he wouldn't wake Sage up... the boy was tired, he needed to rest. After about ten minuets, the baby let out a tiny hiccup-like burp before quietening down again. Anya sighed when his cries finally stopped and gently pecked the child on the top of the head. Once he'd nodded off to sleep again, she went to sit down and gently shifted Sage so she could get comfortable again. She gave a small smile to the boy before patting him on the side. "Do you want your baby back?" She asked quietly. She didn't really mind when he went off to the doctors... she'd just go to talk to her mother about all this when he did.

Sage yawned when Anya spoke, and had to think for a minute to process what she'd said. He blearily reached for the baby and after a few moments of sitting there, he decided to just lay down and curl around the baby. He pretty much just fell back asleep ...Att should be awake when he visited the doctor, and if he was asleep and relaxed, then Sage was going to sleep some more. After another hour or so, he kind of made sure Att was comfortable before he slipped into the bathroom to splash some cold water on his face and use the bathroom. By the time he was done, Att was crying in the other room again, so he jogged back over to the boy and took care of the dirty diaper before heading over to the doctors office. Hopefully, he'd focus on Att and not the marks on his neck, which only seemed to have gotten darker. Though, that was normal...at least it meant they'd heal soon enough.

Anya let Sage take the child before carefully leaning over and pressing a light but lingering kiss to his lips... given, he was still half asleep, the boy probably wasn't all too aware of what was going on around him. "See you in a bit," she chirped lightly before slipping out of the room. She'd have her normal errands to run... signing things on her mother's behalf, making sure Luther was where he was meant to be, and, of course, sitting in on whatever meetings either one of her parents had to attend. It was boring, sure, but she didn't mind that one all too much. She just sat there, which was a bit of a break. After all of that, she did manage to get a moment alone with her mother. Anya figured she'd be nicer if she asked about having the baby stay for a bit rather than Sage... the boy would have probably gotten yelled at. She explained everything to the woman, and that they were looking for another place for Att to stay... with a nice family, who would give him a good life, away from all the drama and politics of the royals, but also out of the way from the frankly vile nature of the slums. After a little back and forth, the woman reluctantly agreed for the child to stay, which was a little bit of a relief for the girl... she knew Sage was already head over heels for Atticus, and it would be good for him to have another little person to take care of.
