She simply raised a finger, meaning one second, im busy. as she took a customers order, cashing them out at the register.

He went out of the breakroom. "Your trouble." He made the customers order, Pretty quickly. He handed it to Em his finger brushing hers.

She smirked lightly, taking the drink as she quieted her voice until only he could hear. "Maybe I am, that's for you to find out, though." With that she turned back around, handing off the coffee.

He chuckles, washing off the counter. " I guess it is for me too find out." He teases, washing off the coffee grinder and coffee maker.

She answered with a soft smirk, working at the shop for the rest of the day and chatting with both Eli and his dad---mainly thanking him for the mac and cheese---until eventually, he left after closing up, leaving Em and Eli alone. The woman turned towards Eli, leaning back against the counter. "Well, it's just us, now."
