Gale awoke,seeing Kayla gone already.He stood and walked to the kitchens for chow,hungry.

Kayla sat down on the ground, leaning against a tree and looking around. She loved the quiet of the forest, besides the sounds of the camp, and thought it was calming

Gale walked into the tent,grabbing two skewers of cooked venison.He walked out,spotting Kayla and walking over to her. "Thought you might be hungry." He says,offering the skewer to her.

Kayla took it with a smile. "Thanks" She said

Gale silently nodded,starting on his.He swalloed,getting ready to speak again. "Have you talked to anybody but me here?" He asks,leaning against a tree.

Kayla shook her head, taking a bite. "I'm not one to talk to others unless I need to." She said quietly

"Makes sense." He responded,finishing the skewer.Gale sighed,trying to decide if he was going to tell her now about him possibly leaving. "Kayla,im going to be leaving in a week to just go from town to town,explore the world,you know?" He says,shuffling awkwardly. "I was wondering if you'd like to come along."
