Sage waited while the conversation turned to something more private, but he really couldn't help but listen in. They were right there, after all. "The important thing is, once she's out, she'll need support," he spoke up after a moment. "She'll come out with nothing...so a house, food, transportation...it's all stuff mom can help with," he added, glancing at the mom. He still didn't know her name. He should remember but...he didn't. "I assume that's no problem?"

Ally nodded slowly. "Yeah" She looked at her Mom. She nodded. "Yes. Oh yes! I can do that! Will you be able to go back to college?" She quickly turned to Sage. "Will she be able to? Can she play again? She used to be amazing at softball before the incident. She had offers to play at so many colleges-" Ally bit her lip. "Mom..." "-And she had scholarships coming in like crazy-" "Mom" Ally said louder. "She eventually decided to settle on the University of Alabama but then-" "Kelly!" Alleyah blurted out, shaking her arm. "Mom" she chuckled. "I've pretty much already told him about all of that" Ally giggled

Sage couldn't help but laugh when her mom...Kelly?....kept talking. It was clear she was proud of her daughter. "Yes, everything would go back to normal," he noted. "Her record will go clean, and there'll be some sort of note on there to say what happened," he added.

Ally looked at Sage, hope filling her eyes. She looked out of the pavillion. "Where's the promised pizza, Scar?" She asked with a teasing tone. Kelly elbowed Alleyah and she jerked away. "Mom" she laughed, pushing her mother's arm away.

Sage chuckled softly and tossed her his phone. "Order whatever kind you want," he noted lightly. "I'll eat anything," he added with a slight laugh. He watched her interact with her mother happily, wishing he'd known his own mother better before she'd gotten sick.

Ally quickly ordered a plain pepperoni pizza. Kelly gave her nod of approval then got up to hand his phone back to him. "So what's the plan? When is the court date?" Kelly asked as she sat back down. "Will Marc be there or will he be arrested after?" Ally spoke up

Sage took his phone back once she'd ordered it all, cocking his head in response to their questions. "Tomorrow morning," he noted. "Its not much time, but its all I could get," he added with a sort of frown. Then he shook his head. "He will be arrested, but not present for the trial. This is just finding you innocent. There will be another to prove him guilty," he informed them.

Ally nodded slowly, taking in the new information. "Alright" Kelly looked at her watch then bit her lip. Her mother was where Ally got her little lip chewing habit from. "I'm sorry to cut this short, but I have a hair appointment I need to get to" She stood and reached out to hug Ally. "Bye my dear Ally. Kelly turned to Sage ad reached out her hand. "Thank you sir. I will see you guys tomorrow"

Sage nodded and offered the girl a small smile, nodding when her mom said she had to go. Of course, at her comment he just chuckled. "Oh, I'm no sir," he noted. "Same age as your girl, actually. Just call me Scar, like she does," he noted lightly, shaking her hand firmly.

Kelly glanced at Ally then at Scar. "Really?" She asked. "You seem so much older" She hugged Alleyah one more time then stepped away. "Thank you for giving my baby a chance" She said, small tears gathering in the corners of her eyes as she gazed at her daughter. She quickly swiped at her eyes and took a deep breath, backing away. "Thank you" She said with a small wave then she walked toward the enterance. Ally watched her mother, but she was torn away when her stomach growled. "I hope the pizza gets here fast" She mumbled, unable to look at Scar. he was the same age as her? Had he told her that and she had just forgotten? She shook her head. "I didn't know we were the same age"
