Sage waited while the conversation turned to something more private, but he really couldn't help but listen in. They were right there, after all. "The important thing is, once she's out, she'll need support," he spoke up after a moment. "She'll come out with nothing...so a house, food, transportation...it's all stuff mom can help with," he added, glancing at the mom. He still didn't know her name. He should remember but...he didn't. "I assume that's no problem?"

Ally nodded slowly. "Yeah" She looked at her Mom. She nodded. "Yes. Oh yes! I can do that! Will you be able to go back to college?" She quickly turned to Sage. "Will she be able to? Can she play again? She used to be amazing at softball before the incident. She had offers to play at so many colleges-" Ally bit her lip. "Mom..." "-And she had scholarships coming in like crazy-" "Mom" Ally said louder. "She eventually decided to settle on the University of Alabama but then-" "Kelly!" Alleyah blurted out, shaking her arm. "Mom" she chuckled. "I've pretty much already told him about all of that" Ally giggled

Sage couldn't help but laugh when her mom...Kelly?....kept talking. It was clear she was proud of her daughter. "Yes, everything would go back to normal," he noted. "Her record will go clean, and there'll be some sort of note on there to say what happened," he added.
