Ariadne was back in a dress by the time the foreign party was leaving, settled in the Grand Hall just before the doors. She smiled softly at the comment, dipping her head in acknowledgment and meeting Tadhg's gaze. "I hope both of you enjoyed your stay at least a little." She chuckled faintly. "It's been a pleasure to have you." She ended simply. Her Mother hadn't deigned to actually speak to them out of embarrassment since breakfast, but she gave a nod out of courtesy. As did Vance, her father nowhere in sight. "Have a safe journey home. If ever you need to return, we would be happy to have you back." She nodded, stepping aside to let them walk out to their carriage, her eyes lingering on the younger elf in curiousity.

Tadhg stood silently, a pleasnt expression on his face. Remaining respectful despite still being amused by the look on her mother's face, restlessly shifting his weight slightly. Larach thanked them and bade them a goodbye in the native tongue. Both bowed, the younger of the two a little deeper. He tose, eyeing Ariadne as they turned and headed down the stairs.

Instead of a carriage coming up to the house this time, it was simply him. The Elf strolled at an even pace. Bag shouldered behind his back, bow in one hand. He was dressed in a more casual form of what he had worn during his previous visit which had been for business. Tadhg looked well. Like he hadn't actually walked the whole way here other than some minor hitchhiking as he came into a closer view, up to the staircase leading up to the mansion. It was early, the sun was still peaking over a mountain, at his back. Punctual. Back home, everything was well and normal, as if nothing could crumble under his feet if she chose to let the law deem him guilty. It made him feel stable. He'd spent the next two weeks hidden in the woods just to be away from people, he had to wash the unpleasant dinners and trampling off of himself before he could show his face in Epirus again.

Ariadne stood just outside the doors to the Great Hall, blinking in surprise as he just... walked up. Just her this time, furrowed brow and all. She was in a simple, flattering navy dress with a slit up her thigh- she had just come from a delegation meeting, hence the slightly fancier attire. "Decided that a carriage was too grand an entrance?" She drawled sarcastically, arching a brow as he came up the steps to meet her.

Tadhg, skipping a stair every step, came up to her, bowing first, admired the dress on his way up from it, and possibly the leg he saw. Hoping she didn't dress up for him because he sure did not dress uo for her. "I walk faster than it." He cocked an eyebrow momentarily and smirked. "Hello Madam." Greeting her as he stopped before her, still taller.

A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips as the elf bowed, taking in her dress as he went. She liked being admired, and she found that she particularly liked being admired by him. "I see. Somehow I find it hard to believe, but I will take you at your word." She teased, dipping her head in acknowledgement to his bow. "Hello, T." She chuckled, taking a step closer to him and reaching up to gently cradle his face with her hands. He obviously didn't know Epirian courting tradition, but she could mess with him before she taught him her ways. She brushed her lips lightly against his right cheek, tilting his head to do the same to his left, and then lightly asking him to dip his head with her hands to She could rise on her toes and set a light kiss on his forehead. She released him just as lightly, stepping back as though nothing strange had happened at all. "I hope your walk was well." She stated simply, a small, knowing smile curving her lips as she opened the Great Hall for him. "Shall we?" Edited at May 25, 2024 11:50 PM by Widow Valley Farms

The elf watched her with curiosity. Struck with silence as she touched his face, letting her move it without struggle with the first kiss. Her hands were soft. He hesitated to lift his head when she was done, expecting it to go on or something. He averted his gaze, slightly embarrassed for reasons he couldn't list. Especially not at the moment. "Yes," his throat caught slightly. "Do I- get a new room or?" He asked quietly, looking up the stairs. The same as it was before.

She bit her lip to refrain from a chuckle at the look on his face- but he wasn't upset. He was embarrassed, which confused her slightly. She would ask when her mother wasn't staring out of a window not too far away. Still, for the first time, he lost a little composure. "You do. It will be right next to mine, if you want me to show you." She said simply, gently brushing her knuckles against his, tossing him a look that asked if he was okay, worry creasing her brow slightly.

Tadhg rolled his shoulders back, looking down at her concerned face. Wordlessly perking back up. "I do not remember where your room is." He said simply, smiling gently. He has some mixture of surprised, because she kissed him, surprised because she kissed him and just a little bit grossed out. That wasn't exactly something he wanted. He looked blankly expectantly that she would show him to the living quarters.
