Sage stayed asleep for a couple hours after that, though when he sort of started to wake up, he forced himself to actually wake up and stay awake. T hadn't slept much longer than he had, so he sort of just rolled over onto his back with a sort of groan before looking over at Liz and T, who both seemed quite happy to be in each others company. "You know, you'd make a good mom," he mused, still half asleep. It was true though...and while it wasn't like he was exactly planning on getting her pregnant during an apocalypse, he had no doubt she'd make a good mother when or if she ever wanted kids of her own.

T spent most of the time before he woke up playing or cuddling with Liz; really, keeping her entertained. She smiled at Sage for his groan, stroking his hair gently as he woke up. She blinked in surprise at his comment, flushing at the mention. She shifted in a slightly uncomfortable manner and let out a nervous chuckle. "I, uh, think you, Lucifer, and Liz are all the kids I need. Plus, I uhm... well, I can't really have kids." She muttered her words quickly and quietly toward the end, a slightly shameful tone in her voice. If that was something he wanted from her, there was almost no chance she could give him another child, even if she wanted to. She stared straight out the entrance of the cave, gently bumping Liz up and down on her thigh.

Sage sort of watched the girl grow rather uncomfortable in response to the comment and sort of felt bad for blurting that one out. He waved her comments away and patted her thigh. "Relax, I'm not saying I want to get you pregnant," he mumbled before sort of yawning. "I justeant you're good with Liz and she seems to like you too, so I could see you with a family," he clarified. "If this whole apocalypse thing ever ends," he added with a huff. Then he thought back to her comment and wrinkled his nose slightly in amusement. "Did you just call me a kid," he asked with a chuckle. "I'm not that stupid am I," he joked lightly, just trying to lighten the mood a bit. He was curious as to why she couldn't bear children....but she seemed to be upset about it, so he didn't want to pry.

T smiled faintly at his first comment, gently running her nails over his scalp to ease her own anxiety. The gentle contact as he patted her leg was calming enough, though. She looked down at him quietly as he spoke, tilting her head slightly. "I was hoping you and Liz would be my family, now and after whatever sort of thing the world is going through right now." She shrugged, a slightly sheepish way about her as she said it. She chuckled softly at him and nodded. "I did. Took you long enough to notice." She teased, gently moving her hand down to rub his shoulder. "No comment." She joked, gently pressing her thumb to Liz's nose in an affectionate way.

Sage sort of leaned into her hand absentmindedly when he felt her nails running along his scalp. At her comment though, he looked over at her with a cocked head. "You really want all of...this," he asked gesturing to him and Liz, and....well, everything came with them. He supposed half of him expected the girl to just want things like last night, and then leave once things improved. Deep down he knew she wouldn't do that, but....he supposed he just didn't want to get his hopes up if it didn't work that way. Though, at her tease he chuckled lightly and shook his head in amusement. "Thanks," he snorted, looking over at her happily, sort of propping himself up on an forearm after a moment.

T gave him a slightly puzzled look at his surprise, gently lifting her hand from his shoulder to run it along his nose. "I really do." She said softly, bringing her hand back up to play with his hair. She offered him a grin at his response, dipping her head in a teasing nod. "Any time." She joked, sliding her hand down his neck to rub at the bicep he was propped up on.

Sage sort of hummed and nodded in response to her comment, giving her a grin and chuckling. "Well I'm definitely glad to have you here," he chirped. "And so is liz, I think," he added happily. He rolled his eyes in response to her comment, snorting again at her tease and shaking her head in amusement. Though, her hand running along his bicep sort of distracted him. Not that much could happen, since Liz was up now.

"I would hope so, seeing as I'm here for the foreseeable future." T chuckled, shifting Liz to sit in her lap. She glanced over at Sage, still massaging his bicep gently. "Are you hungry? I don't think either of us have eaten since..." She paused, attempting to pull some sort of definitive answer out of her mind. None came. After bringing her eyes back into focus, she shook her head. "Doesn't matter. Take Liz for me?" She asked lightly, setting the girl down so she leaned gently against his stomach. She reached over him carefully and grabbed a small bag from within her satchel, pulling back to sit where she had been.

Sage chuckled softly and nodded in response to her comment. "That's more than ok with me," he mused before shrugging on response to her comment. It had been a while since he'd eaten....he normally preferred to just feed Liz and skip the meals himself. Keep it for longer....it was hard to come by. But if it made her happier, he'd eat a little bit. He was hungry after last night anyway, so he supposed he could let himself eat something. So, he took Lizzie and sat up, watching T drag everything over.

T inserted herself comfortably at his side as he sat up, just short of jamming herself under his arm in eagerness. It sufficed to say that she very, very much enjoyed cuddling. She opened the brown paper bag and withdrew a red/brownish piece of dried meat. "Not the loveliest of cuisines, but better than mashed carrots." She chuckled offering a piece to him. It was was much too hard for Liz to even consider eating, but the child still looked up and reached for it. T simply chuckled and set her finger in the grabby fist the little girl made, something else to preoccupy her for the moment.
