Kitty had been nervously fidgeting with the many layers of her gown almost the entire ride to the palace. After what really did feel like an eternity, the carriage came to a halt and the driver came out to help her down. She took his hand and gave him a small smile, beginning the walk up the very slowly rising stairs that lead to the main entrance. Couples were perched here and there, some loners, most slowly making their way up. She got a few looks, and she gave a small, hesitant smile in return. She was eyecatching. Her long, traditional ball style dress went down to her ankles in a rather large radius, with a neckless top and no sleeves. The main coloring of the gown was a darker red, which matched the color on her lips. Black lace edged the hem of the dress, and also created a belt around where the skirt and bodice met. She also wore elbow length black gloves, and a dark winged eyeliner. Her hair was up in some sort of intricate bun, and it was safe to say she had been thinking about that outfit for... a while. She had to lift her gown so as not to fall on her face in high heels, glancing nervously up at the entrance.

The ballroom was as boring as usual, talking and talking to the random people who wanted to speak to Royalty. The ballroom itself wasn't that boring though. The walls were white, golden highlights over some of the gorgeous dark wood that trimmed the ceiling, some odd and intrecate decoration patterns on the walls and the two-sided round staircase that lead upstairs. The shandeliers were quite an interesting addition, lighting the room up with a gorgeous light orange glow. Ali had been there for about an hour and had already been flirted with several times. He needed a breath of fresh air while he waited. He looked around and slipped outside of the wide ballroom doors that were about halfway open. His suit was sleek and black, red embroidery found it's way around the collar and sewn in down the seams of his clothes in a more fancy or exotic look. His shirt beneath was a dark red, matching both other colors on him. He had flat out refused anything with his hair, it felt like he was wearing a wig. He gazed down the staircase, a smile warming his face. "You made it!" He said enthusiastically. It was a a little dark outside and he couldn't see much more than who she was until she got into the brighter light filtering out from the doors. His jaw dropped a little, leaving him with a slightly awed expression. Maybe a little flustered and pink. He cleared his throat and stepped down to meet her, holding out his right hand for her to take. He was a bit speechless still.

As soon as Kitty saw him, a relieved smile flashed across her face and she hurried up to him. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." She giggled, flushing at his admiring expression. She took his hand and smiled at his outfit, tilting her head up at him. "You look wonderful." She smiled, leaning forward to give him a light kiss on the cheek, looking at the doors and clearing her throat slightly. "Shall we?"

He smiled, pulling her hand closer, letting go to interlock their elbows. He smiled at her compliment. "So do you, more- more majestic," he was still so at a loss for words. He nodded and walked in time with her back through the doors. Several people were watching now, whispering too. He gave them all a proud look and an even smile. Though his cheeks were still pretty pink.

Kitty's cheeks took on a slightly rosy hue at his inability to speak. "What happened? Cat got your tongue?" She teased (Get it? Cuz her name is Kitty... phehe...). She moved closer to him, holding onto his arm and leaning her head on his shoulder momentarily, to prepare herself. After, she picked her head up and sent a charming smile at the people looking after them. She blinked in surprise as they entered the majestic room, her jaw dropping in awe. "Ali, you- you live here?" She asked quietly, looking around in admiration.

Stop doing thatttt- Its not punny..:>)) He looked down at her, a nervous smile on his face as she made a pun- fighting back a giggle. He looked around as if it was a normal occurance that he sees this. Which it is. "I don't anymore. I have my own house. It has Phlox around it." He giggled.

I will never not make puns)) Kitty gave him a slightly astonished look. "I can't believe people live here. And, I also didn't know you had your own house. You'll have to show it to me sometime." She smiled, looking around at the dance floor, and at the multiple cliques that had formed around the room. ((We cant forget about Ali's brother being a dick and a lady trying to dance with Ali))

Oh absolutely)) He smiled in a more relaxed manner. "I cannn, it is very easy to get lost. Though there's a lot of room to run." He said that like he'd done it before. "And I will, my house isn't too far. I keep it hidden though." He glanced at the dance floor, there wasn't music yet but since most guests were here he assumed it would start soon. "Come, meet my family. But more like meet meet. Not just a handshake." He said playfully. He walked them over to where his parents and brother were hovering. K(king) "Who is this lovely young lady?" He asked in a calm and more proper voice than Ali ever used. "This is Kate, Kaden couldn't make it so she is here as his plus one." He said in a smooth lie. He seemed pretty good at that. "Kate, this is Prince Wyatt, he's my older brother. And you should know my parent's names, Louie and Jane." He smiled. Wyatt smiled too, but in a less friendly and innocent way. Ali noticed that.
