Regan nodded gently when he said he was going for a walk... that was fine, and he probably needed some time to himself anyway. If he wasn't back in an hour or so, then she'd go looking for him. She took his empty plate and started to wash up for him... she hadn't eaten in a while, but she wanted to make sure he was alright, too. She could eat later... it wasn't like she could get much thinner anyway.

Tyler felt tears come to his eyes. It wasn't like seeing his home torn apart.. all over again. He out his head in his hands, his shoulders shaking.

Regan sat for about an hour, just trying to relax a little bit... but she was struggling to do that while she was worrying. After a bit, she forced herself up, deciding to go and find Tyler... she was worried something had happened to him. She had a feeling she knew where he was, though... so quickly walked back towards where they were previously, only to see him shaking in the middle. She sighed and wandered over... the place was a complete mess.

Tyler heard the crack of a stick, but he was too drained to move. If it was a rabid animal.. let it kill him. He didn't really care anymore... but then he realized there was someone that didn't really depend on him.. but wanted him there. So he stood, turning on the noise and seeing Regan. "Oh.. it's just you." He said quietly, his face showing sadness. He turned back, looking at the charred ashes again. "This was my home.." he murmured, his shoulders dropping.

Regan glanced over his face for a moment or two before sighing and wandering over. "Yeah... just me," she murmured quietly. She looked around for a moment or two, a small sigh escaping her. This was his home for however long he'd been there... it was scary how fast it'd been destroyed. She rested her hand on his back, drawing small circles on his back, hoping to be some sort of comfort to him. "I'm sorry," she whispered after a few moments.

Tyler seemed to relax slightly.. but still looked sad. "It's okay.. I guess it would have happened sooner or later. I just have to get over it." He took a breath, turning back and starting to walk slowly back towards the cabin. He took slightly uneven strides... one of his legs being a Little sore. Tyler was grateful that Regan was here, though. She had been a great help and comfort... once she started trusting him... and not .. talking too much. Still, even then I tap was nice to have another human being around.

Regan frowned a little bit at him before shaking her head. "Wait - is there anything you'd like to grab?" She asked gently. She didn't mind... she just wanted to make sure he was alright. She'd been trying not to talk as much recently, because he didn't like it and she didn't want to drive him away. She was a people person, as much as she hated to admit it... and she didn't want to be all alone anymore. She followed him back towards the cabin though... and once she'd shut the door she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him, her head in his chest. "I'm sorry about your home," she whispered after a couple of moments.

Tyler shook his head slightly. "Anything I would have left... is burned." He said quietly, continuing to walk once he got inside the cabin he let Regan ... hug him, though it felt weird... since he hadn't really been hugged... ever. He sighed. "My home was a physical thing.. it did not have a soul, heart, body, or mind. You do. I'm just glad I'm here with you." He said very quietly, almost a whisper. Tyler NEVER really 'whispered'. It just didn't happen.

Regan just held onto him for a few moments, still just feeling awful... she'd be awfully devastated is something like that had happened to her little shack, she really would have. "It was stills your home, Tyler," she whispered to him. "You can be upset about it, even without it having a heart or a mind... it's gone, you were safe there," she told him after a moment or two. He'd been busy protecting her home... when he should have really been protecting his. She pulled away from him after a moment, gently taking a hold of his hands. "I'm glad to be with you, too," she told him quietly.

Tyler's face turned up slightly as a small smile appeared. "You may not know me very well... I have already mourned. I a mare over it now.. at least on the outside. I can always find I knew home... like this little cabin. Though it is yours, I'm obliged to stay with you so I can stay here." He teased slightly, taking a breath. "Well I am glad you are glad to be with me... and now I'm just drawing that out. I'm going to go to the stream." He said, gently pulling away and turning to walk to the stream. Now that he could walk without injuring himself... he seemed to not be able to keep still.
