Sage nodded sympathetically. "Sometimes you h people die when the world's gone mad," he sighed. "my sister was only nine when she got killed. " Sage followed the two wolves around, keeping an eye out and hand on his dagger just in case. He trusted them and their senses, but if the zombie was downwind they wouldn't smell it. It never hurt to be prepared. "Cool. Maybe we can find something useful" he opened the door and held it open for the wolves and then immediately started looking around, forgetting that there could be zombies lurking. Or rather, he just didn't care. |

Cassidy walked inside of the house and she took quiet, slow steps just in case. The last time they went into a house she was tackled by a zombie and Sage had to help her. She couldn't be careless this time, she had to be serious and be on high alert. Luckily they had Alex too now who could help them and be another set of eyes and ears. Slowly she started walking upstairs and when a floor board creaked she stiffened and froze, waiting for something to attack her. When nothing came for her, she kept walking upstairs and still she didn't smell any new scents. |

Sage wandered around the house, looking for anything useful. He found some warmer clothes, and grabbed them all since he wasn't sure what Alex had in his human form, or what size he was. But even something too big could be used and something too small could be made into a hat or gloves. He trusted Cass and Alex to be able to fight if something happened, though he did want to get back to Cass as soon as possible just in case. He wanted to finish looking around upstirs though, and go through drawers and all of that before they moved on. |

Cassidy couldn't really find anything useful. Most of the stuff they already had but she did find a couple winter coats so she gathered them in her mouth and she made her way back downstairs and to Sage, nudging his leg with her nose. Cassidy sat down and her tail was wagging while she looked up at Sage with puppy dog like eyes. Alex joined them shortly after and he had found some clothes too for winter that he knew they would need. |

Sage looked down at Cass when she nosed his leg and grinned down at her, patting her head and taking the coats from her. "Those will definitely come in handy," he told her, adding the coats to the pile he had. He had to look away after a moment because her puppy dog eyes were causing him to blush. When Alex joined them he took those clothes too, since it was a bit difficult to carry stuff as a wolf. Plus if it came to a fight they would need to be able to bite things...so they'd need their mouths open. |

-Is that a blush I see?- Cassidy said and she stood up and walked up to Sage to rub her head against his leg with a soft growl sounding from her. -You look so cute when you blush- she liked teasing Sage and seeing him blush, he was so adorable when he did. Cassidy walked away to sniff the area to make sure that they were still alone. It seemed like they were which was a good thing, especially since she wasn't in the mood to fight anyone. |

Sage only blushed harder when she mentioned his blush, and put a hand over his face with a chuckle. She never failed to tease him about it .... And he had to admit, he kind of liked it. His sister would always tease him too, how easily he got flustered. Cass reminded him of her, a lot. It was nice to see. He missed his sister, more than anything, and he was always worried about running into her...he wasn't sure he could kill her even if she was a zombie attacking him, not really his sister anymore. He'd promised to protect her...he'd failed, and if he killed her, it would definitely be breaking that promise. But he was more worried about his father showing up. He could never fight his father ...too many bad memories haunted his brain for that. |

Cassidy could tell he was thinking about something, something that was upsetting him. She could smell the change in his smell and it made her whine with slight confusion. -What's wrong?- she asked softly and she nudged his hand -I can smell it in your scent. Something is upsetting you- he wouldn't be able to hide it from her. Werewolves had a keen sense of smell and any sudden, sour change in someone's scent they could certainly pick up on it. -Are you thinking about your sister?- she asked softly, almost afraid to tread on such delicate waters. She couldn't imagine how hard it was to talk about his sister when she died so young but Cassidy wanted to be there for him. She wanted him to know he could confine in her if he needed to. |

Sage glanced down at Cass in surprise, then remembered she could smell hormone changes and all that. He patted her and chuckled. "You remind me of her." He shrugged. "My memories of Liz are...bittersweet I guess. I worry about what I'd do if she attacked one of us," he admitted. He scrunched his face up. "but I was thinking of my dad too I guess. It all mixes together in my head " |

A soft whine sounded from her and she pressed her side against his leg to comfort him like a wolf would in a pack. -I'm sorry, Sage. I can't imagine how it is for you but I want you to know I'm here for you. I'll never leave your side- she loved Sage so either way she would never leave him and she hoped she would never become a zombie for the fact she didn't want him alone either. He didn't need to be alone after everything he has been through his whole life. |
