He looked at it and then back at Lisa, his jaw dropping. He was shocked, but also thrilled that she was pregnant. He stared at her and pointed at himself dumbly. |

Maxine stared at him trying to read his reaction... "Yeah... You're going to be a father..." Maxine said looking at him trying to see what his reaction was... She couldn't quite tell. |

He blinked slowly grinning. "Well that would explain the double heart beat and extra energy," he chuckled. He set the test down and hopped off the bed, walking over to Maxine. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lightly. "I'm happy." |

Max gave a relieved sigh when he told her he was happy she hugged him and gave him an extra passionate kiss before she nodded "I'm happy too... It's just really bad timing..." She admitted with a small chuckle "What are we going to do...?" She asked looking up at him. |

He thought for a second. "It won't affect us moving around until you're almost ready to go into labor, so we have some time. And even then, we can move to different sites in the same general area pretty easily." He let out a deep breath. "It'll be harder, but...I don't think things are ever going to be...easy...for us " |

"I guess..." She said giving a gentle sigh and hugging him "No they never will be..." She agreed "But I mean... We have each other..." She said trying to see the brighter side though it worried her still... Would that be what killed her? She wondered I mean there has to be some kind of complexity given she is having a demon child... Right? She thought. So many questions were rushing to her mind. Her entire body was shaking both with excitement and fear... She looked up at him before burrowing her head into his chest wrapping her arms around him tightly. |

He was surprised at first and then hugged her tighter, rocking from side to side gently. "Yeah. You have me, and I fully plan on annoying you for the rest of your life," he chuckled. He was joking, but also meant it when he said he would always be with her. "Don't over think it, alright? Demons are ere born the same way as humans. Don't fret about it." |

Max gave a nod "I can't help it..." She chuckled gently "It's just scary..." She admitted giving a small laugh "You? Annoying? Never..." She teased playfully quickly standing and spinning him back toward the bed playfully tackling him onto it "So you're really happy about this...?" She asked gently looking at him curiously. |

He squeaked when she apun him around and then laughed, blushing at the squeak he made. "Why wouldn't I? I've never had a family, so making my own is like a dream come true." He grinned. "I mean sure, I'm also terrified at the fact that I'll be responsible for another person, but I really am excited about it." |

Maxine laughed at his little squeak before she listened to him the smile on her face only growing "I'm glad then... Yeah it's terrifying... But... I'm glad I can give you some family of your own..." She said happily "That makes me feel a lot better..." She admitted "I love you..." She cooed kissing him. |
