Noah nodded, standing and offering her his hand.

She used it, pulling herself up before thanking him and heading to grab a pair of tennis shoes.

Noah smiled, pulling on his shoes, and putting a leash on Rocky.

Rocky jumped up at him, eager to get out as Emery walked back over.

She nodded, chuckling as Rocky sneezed before tugging on his leash towards the door. "Somebody's excited," Em mused, opening the door.

She took his other hand, the soft sun rays casting down on her.

Noah walked with her. They ended up in the park, all alone, a peaceful kind of quiet in the forest. Gently, he stopped, tugged on her hand to tell her to stop too. He lowered himself onto one knee, pulling out the ring box. He opened it, the cheap ring glimmering in the light. "Emery, will you marry me?"

Emery enjoyed the peaceful late morning in the park, a warm, springy breeze blowing through the leaves before she felt a tug on her hand. She stopped, figuring Rocky was going to the bathroom and they had to wait on him. Though, Noah down on one knee wasn't what she was expecting. Her jaw dropped slightly, a grin spreading across her face as she nodded. "Yes! Oh my God yes!" Em called, happy tears filling her eyes as her dream became reality.
