"do you want me to be there when you tell him? We may as well get it over with tomorrow" he murmured

Lorelei nodded. "Yeah," she agreed.

"sleep for now, love"

Lorelei nodded, drifting off in his arms. The next morning, she woke up sick, running to the toilet and vomiting.

Kai quickly got up, rushing to her side and holding her hair back gently. He rubbing her back with a concerned expression. "You're okay, baby" he murmured softly

Lorelei finished and leaned into his side, tired and panting.

He grabbed a nearby rag and ran it under warm water, testing the temp on the back of his hand before wiping her face gently and setting the rag down. He sat down and held her close, pulling her gently into his lap

Lorelei leaned against him, taking deep breaths.

"you okay, darling? I'm here, don't worry"

Lorelei nodded, still leaning on him. "I'm okay," she whispered.
