Celeste ate about half of her food before moving to play with the kids.

Sage moved to clean up the food she didn't finish, just glad she'd had some.

Celeste kept playing with the kids, trying to spend as much time with them as she could.

Sage moved to sit down on the mattress with the rest of the family, just watching her play with the kids softly

Eventually the kids got tired, so Celeste put them down for their nap.

Sage helped tuck the kids in before plopping down on the couch with a sigh

Celeste plopped down next to him, cuddling into his side.

Sage wrapped his arms around her happily. "When did you meet Odessa," he asked curiously

"When I was training to become an assassin," she hummed, going back to the time they met. "She didn't like me at first, cause I was different, just like everyone else didn't like me. We got paired to bunk together and got to know each other better. She eventually came around to me,"

Sage hummed softly and nodded. "That sounds like you," he noted with a small smile. "Never giving up on someone you like, I mean," he added quickly, thinking back to their first week or so together.
