Celeste knocked on the door, Odessa answered with a human man behind her. "Essie?" Odessa asked, shocked. "Whats wrong?" She asked. "We need a hiding spot for a while. She came after my son," Celeste breathed. Odessa ushered the family in, worried. Odessa introduced herself to Sage and fawned over the babies. The young man was Odessas boyfriend, Xander.

Sage was admittedly a little overwhelmed, but he managed to get the new people and thank them for helping them out. He'd just shifted all the bags over one shoulder so he could shake hands, and caught Xanders surprised look at it. The guy seemed to shrug it off though, which sage appreciated.

Eventually they all got settled, Odessa and Xander in their room, the babies in their carseats, Lizzie on the couch, and Celeste and Sage on the air mattress in the living room

Once everything was under control, sage flopped onto the air mattress with a groan, finally relaxing a little bit. He was still pretty keyed up, though.
