Kais eyes widened. "I- I thought you just wanted heirs, so I distanced myself and- and I didn't want it to be about us if it was just because you wanted heirs... I'm so sorry..." he satrted crying again.

Camery's eyes widened slightly when he started crying, and quickly moved to wipe his tears as she sat on the edge of the tub. She did want heirs... but she wanted a family first. She still felt a duty of sorts, but it was different. She wanted a child that was the best of both of them, to start their little family and enjoy it together. She wanted that family to be with him. "Stop saying sorry, it's not making anything better now," she whispered. She rested a hand on his cheek, a soft breath escaping her. "Amd I wasn't going to let you do anything you're not into. If it's not about us, I don't want it, okay," she muttered. She looked up at him slightly. "I should have been more clear. I-I want a family. I want a baby, not an heir. I want that with you, and I want us both to want that."

Kai looked up at her with glassy eyes. He nodded. "I want a baby too,"
| |

Camery let out a soft sigh after a moment, her brows pinching together. She shook her head slightly, just looking exhausted. "No, you don't," she muttered. "If you wanted a baby, you would have heard me last night. You wouldn't have ran away, or just sat there while was trying to get... something, anything out of you," she told him gently after a moment.

"I do want a baby," he looked up at her with big eyes. "I was angry, I thought you just wanted an heir, I was trying to cope and think and-and..."
| |

Cam just stared at him for a moment. He was angry? Was that meant to help anything? Him being angry didn't warrant anything. "I don't think you do," she whispered looking away. "And what? I told you I wanted a baby. I didn't say anything about an heir last night. Maybe you're just looking for an excuse or... something."
| |

Kai looked up at her with desperate big eyes. "I'm not trying to make an excuse. I just thought you just wanted an heir, not a baby, you were so set on having an heir the last time we talked about it, I just assumed you hadn't changed your mind and you were stressed about not having an heir first thing. Thats why I was upset, I thought that having an heir was more important to you than I was,"
| |

Cam sighed softly, her eyes softening slightly. Did he really feel like that? Like an heir was more important than he was? God, she hated that. Nothing was more important than him. "Kai, if an heir was more important than you I wouldn't have stopped last night," she murmured. She ran her fingers through his hair again before moving to grab a towel for him, holding it up for him to crawl into. "You're always going to come first. I care about you more than anything," she whispered. When he climbed out, she wrapped the towel around him and went to find him out some clean clothes, something more comfortable. "And I'm sorry too. I love you so much. I didn't mean to get so upset about the whole thing," she promised him softly.

| |

"I love you too," he said, hugging her tight, burying his face in her shoulder. "So, can we have a baby?"
| |

Cam let out a soft breath when he hugged her, the worry in her chest starting to slowly ebb away. She ran her fingers up into his hair, gently running her nails along his scalp. She squeezed him, resting her cheek against his head as she gave him a slow nod. "Of course we can have a baby. Thats all I want," she murmured gently.
