He gave her a smile and a nod. "I promise," he noted softly, squeezing her gently. If anyone came to harm them, he wouldn't let them through the door. He grew up in a war ...he'd never met anyone he couldn't beat in a fight.

She closed her eyes and kissed his arm before falling asleep.

The next morning, Amira woke up after Sage.

Sage had woken up and slipped into the shower, since they'd fallen asleep the night before and he hadn't gotten the chance.

Amira woke to the sound of the shower running. "Sage?" She called, hoping she wasn't hearing things. "Handsome! Where are you?" She got up and stumbled to the dresser, getting out shorts and a t-shirt.

Sage chuckled when he heard her calling. "Shower," he called back to her lightly. "I'm almost done, I'll be out soon," he added, figuring she would be ready for breakfast soon.

" 'Kay!" She called back, getting dressed. She sighed and went to brush her hair. "Morning." She said, grabbing the hairbrush. "Not hungry today." She muttered, walking out.

Sage poked his head out of the shower to give her a grin when he saw her. "Morning," he chirped, brows furrowing when she said she wasn't hungry. That was a bit odd. "Do you feel ok," he asked, though by then she was gone, so he finished up qick and then got dressed, moving to find her.

(going to bed. Ik I haven't been on much but things have been crazy recently lol. Lots of stuff due before break starts)

"Yeah, i'm fine." She muttered, pulling out her hpone and sitting on the bed. "Just don't feel like eating, i guess."

Sage frowned slightly and nodded. He was worried but didn't want to push, so he just sat down next to her and wrapped an arm around her.

"Are you hungry for breakfast?" She asked, hoping he was so she didn't make him feel wierd. "I don't want food, but if you want some...?" She said, leaning on him and setting down her phone.
