Cade began to blush when he made eye contact with her and saw her blush. "At least we're not traveling today." Cade nodded at the outdoors.
She smiled "yeah... I guess not" she tucked her hair behind her ears then searched for something to tie it back with. "Is there like a string or thread or something I can use for my hair?" She asked
| |
Cade shook his head. "No, I can run into town and grab some if you need." He offered
"No it's fine. I can deal with it down. My hair does not require you to go out in the rain and bring me a string so I can tie it back while you sit freezing cold and possibly get sick. No. Heck. No. " she shook her head then pulled her wavy red hair over her shoulder, combing it through with her fingers

Cade lightly blushed, he didn't think she cared about him that much. "Okay, okay, but the second the rain lets up I'm going into town and getting you a hair tie." He countered.

"Whatever floats your boat" she pulled her arms code to her chest and looked at the rain. Saphire walked over to Cade, sitting down right next to him so that their shoulders brushed.

She out a little pressure on his shoulder. She didn't want to push him too far, but she really wanted to know if she was more that just a pillow and an unlikely companion

Cade leaned into her pressure, soaking in this moment. He sat with Saphire in peace. He was just about to lean his head on her shoulder when Rascal came bounding into the cave, rabbit in his mouth.
