After several more moments and some more complaining from Kyle, the medics finished addressing his wounds. He carefully stood and looked towards the family before carefully walking over. He stood nearby for a second, silent as he tried to find his words. His gaze went to the man and woman as he says, "You must be Tucker's parents.. I have heard a lot about you from him.. All good things I assure you." His words were slow as he tried to find the right ones, though he figured this had to be the best way to approach this risky introduction.

Tucker's brother glared at Kyle when he spoke. "You injured my brother" he snarled in an accusatory tone. His father seemed wary about the fact that another alpha was so close to his family. Only his mother adressed the alpha kindly. "Hello... sir... yes we are. Our son hasn't told us about you, but we do know you're an alpha. I show my respect" she says, dipping her head. She then rose again. "You are going to pay" Tucker's brother interrupted with a snarl. "Now, Tyler, be nice" his mother scolded him. Tyler obliged his mother, but still glared at Kyle. His father moved in front of his family, warning Kyle not to come any closer.

Kyle looked to the other boy who was addressed as Tyler by the female. His gaze then went to the mother then to the father as he stepped closer to him. "I swear to you I had nothing to do with your son's injuries, " he says to them all, "those scars on his neck are from claws not fangs. My nails on my hands are not even that sharp to make holes like those. There would also be no reason for me to attack my own mate. If he dies I also pay the punishment for the rest of my life. What you and everyone else saw was me trying to protect my mate from his true attacker. You can ask him yourself when he wakes up."

Tyler still doesn't believe or trust the unfamiliar man. "We'll see about that. How do I know you aren't lying?" He asks, still suspicious of Kyle. "That's enough" his mother said, holding her son back. "I apologize for his behavior" she tells the alpha. Tyler snarls again, but was stopped when his wrist was grabbed. He turned, seeing his brother awake, but still weak. Kyle all forgotten, the family turned to see Tucker, grateful he woke. Tucker's eyes were barely open and he found it difficult to move, but he was glad to see his family again. Tyler gently hugged his brother, carefully not to touch his wounds. Tucker attempted to sit up, but hissed in pain. With his mother's assistance, he made it to a sitting position. With a hoarse voice, from losing blood and lack of hydration, Tucker called out Kyle's name. He attempted to reach out, but found it difficult to. Still, with struggle, he extended his arm out, his hand reaching towards Kyle. He looked at the alpha, and the family looked shocked at Tucker's actions. His mother smiled, knowing her son very well, knowing that the alpha was telling the truth before.

Kyle was about to open his Pugh to respond to Tyler's response before stopping as he saw Tucker move. He watched from the end of the bed as the other moved around him before his mother helped him up. He silently thanked god that his mate was ok before he gently took Tucker's hand in his. Kyle then moved to stand beside Tucker. "I'm here Tucker," he says to him quietly, "me and your family are all right here. I swear I won't leave you again. Not until my dying breath.." Kyle could feel tears of joy in his eyes as well as sadness but kept them at bay.

Tucker was happy to see all the people he loved next to him. "W-water" he asked, and his mother got the glass of water from the sidetable. Tucker felt much better after drinking the glass. He smiled, "thank you" he told Kyle after he spoke. Thank you for not leaving me, Tucker thought but didn't say out loud.

Kyle watched Tucker with gentle eyes as he took a drink of water from the glass that had been provided for him. He then nodded as the omega thanked him. "It was nothing," he says to him in a gentle tone, "you don't have to thank me, I was just protecting my mate as well and helping a wolf in need." His voice was the gentlest it had been his entire life. If it could be touched it would be described as being as soft and gentle as a fluffy, feathered pillow.

Tucker smiled, "Well, thank you anyways"

Kyle nodded with a small, soft smile on his lips as he gazes at his lover. His eyes then slowly went to the rest of Tucker's family before moving back to Tucker. He knew just by looking at them, and how Tucker's brother had acted earlier, that Tyler and probably his parents as well would help him protect Tucker from any more harm.

Tucker reached out and grabbed Kyle's hand. He rubbed it gently.
