You are so right! One of my equine mentors was just talking about how people keep asking "who to make their horses less spooky?" and she spoke about how the majority of the time people need to get their horses to trust them first. I can say for every "spooky" or "un-confidant" horse or dog I have dealt with paying attention and getting them to trust first. It's a responsibility.

Plus a lot of times, I believe if they can be helped why not.
The only problem is the lack of resources.
I've already told my mom if I ever win the lottery I'm buying a whole bunch of land and I'm building a giant compound.
I may or may not work I don't know,
And they quit my full-time be rescuing animals.
If I had enough money I don't want to build my own veterinarian center.
I'd pay people with experience and knowledge to come in.
Have active where people from the outside to come in and bring their animals,
But also have the rescue attached to it.

Scooby problem is he is so smart but acts dumb.
Like this dog will run into a wall head first not paying attention but can open a stove door to steal my food.

Case I'd love to take him, I got really lucky by having 4 strong pack members to.
Scooby still needs more training but he dose really well.
He just learned how to open the stove door and steal my lasagna.
The oven wasn't on nor was it hot I had just said it in there.
I was taking the kids their plate and I come back and Scooby's eating my lasagna I was so mad I ain't going to lie.

MC that would kill me, I've had to do it many times.
Due to dogs poor health.
Poor snow had bone cancer,
And multiple of my grandma's dogs had to be put down to their health just failing.
I remember her crying because she couldn't afford to take Sammy to the vet and his liver was failing he was just going to go any day and he was not feeling well.
And I asked her how much it was she told me I said I'll cover it you just got to pay me back cuz I do need diapers.

Damnit haha ive literally tried to give this dog to anyone to save him. He wants to be a good boy but is very scared. Not abused but EXTREMELY unconfideant and bites because of it. If I didn't have two adult males I would take him on.

I keep telling them if they can get her a pen somewhere safe away from everybody else I'd be more than happy to work with her.
But they would also have to provide a muzzle.

If they have to go to get rid of her they cannot safely rehome her.
And on top of that if they take her to the pound because of her aggressive behavior and her age they will probably just consider her a risk.

Caden said " no captain would just be asking me questions and commander would be acting like my mom " as he smiles a little at her before saying " I know I look bad but I am okay I'll make it no need to cry " as he wanted to comfort her at least and second he like being with her alone and with no one else bothering them

Kennedy once again nodded at what he said, not wanting to bring her gaze up to him. As he spoke again she finally but slowly brought her gaze to meet his, still some tears were streaming down her face "I know you will... I just thought I had lost you in the ambulance when you suddenly passed out and... and seeing you like this hurts to see.." She said as he voice got shakey and her voice faltered

Caden looks at her before saying " I know I wish I could have fought the feeling of passing out before passing out but I might lose the breathing machine tomorrow so this is not for every" before he took his hand and put it on her cheek and rubs a tear away he hates having to be in this way but seeing her cry really crushed him

Kennedy sniffled as Caden spoke "I'm glad it won't be forever but I wish this wasn't a thing to even worry about" She said quietly before leaning her head into his hand enjoying his gentle touch while she could.

Caden nods and said " yeah but if this wasn't a thing in hospital people will be pass out right or left " as he looks at the breathing machine before at her again and rubs her cheek softly before pulling away when the nurse came and smiles then said " good morning Caden and Ms Anderson or do I have that wrong " as she smiles and looks at the chart

Kennedy sighed "True..." She said quietly before looking at him with a small smile as he runned her cheek. She leant into his hand once more before lookingover at the door and standing up seeing that it was a nurse. At the nurses statement Kennedy smiled sheepishly "Oh no you have that wrong, I'm just a friend of his" She said before glancing over at Caden

Caden smiles before looking at the nurse and said " can I breath on my own now nurse " nurse smiles and said " not yet caden you pass out on the EMT then after the surgery when you woke up without the machine you body to weak to breath on it own but maybe we trying again tomorrow " caden nods and then looks at Kennedy and the nurse said " are you sure you two are not together you guys are so cute together" Caden smiles and said " she my cop parnter I can't date my parnter " nurse nods and chuckles

Kennedy smiled back before llooking at the nurse, she was a bit concerned to hear about how weak his body was but she surpressed that worry right away. As the nurse spoke again, she smiled nervously before rubbing the back of her neck "I wish..." She mumbled queitly at the same time Caden spoke. She did nod her head in agreement with him though "Yep just partners" She repeated with a small chcukle

Caden smiles before leaning on his right side and whisper to the nurse " but I think I might ask her to date me " nurse nods and chuckles before caden lays straight and nurse said " five more minutes then caden needs his sleep again " caden shakes his head and said " I want to stay awake " nurse shakes her head and left them alone again caden looks at her and said " promise you will take care of Maddie for me and stay with her until I am out and able to do things again "

Kennedy tilted her head slightly as he leaned over and strted whispering with the nurse. She then nodded at what the nurse instructed before rolling her eyes with a chuckle at his stubborness. When the nurse left she crouched beside his bed once more, at his last statement she bite her lips slightly "I will try my best... I don't want to promise that I will be good at caring for her since I've never had a kid to care for but I will try my best" She said while grabbing his hand and holding it softly
