Kai had stopped crying after a little, but now he just was curled up on the ground, staring emptily at the wall in a pool of his own tears and vomit.

Camery stood in the kitchen for longer than she would have liked. She didn't know what she was doing. Just thinking quietly. Eventually, she let out a soft sigh, forcing herself to go back to their room to get changed and wash her tear stained cheeks. She wandered in, grabbing some comfortable clothes when there wasn't any sign of Malakai, only the god awful stench of vomit. She wrinkled her nose and went into the bathroom, only to find the man curled up in his own vomit. Her eyes widened, and she put her clothes to the side before moving to sit behind him, a hand gently across his side. "Malakai, get up," she whispered softly.

Kai shook his head vaguely, still staring blankly at the wall. "I'm sorry..." he whispered. "I deserve this..."

Cam shook her head at him, and gently rubbed his side. "No you dont," she muttered, flicking the bath tap on before giving him a gentle sigh and wandering back over. "Look, you have vomit everywhere. Get up," she told him blankly, gently tugging on his shirt.

Kai sniffled and stood, crying again, vomit all over himself. His shoulders and wings were slackened, exhausted, tired and depressed. Edited at March 19, 2025 02:46 PM by Burning Rose Equine

Cam frowned at him after a moment or two, and gently held his shoulders as he sat up. She hated seeing him like this. Crying, covered in his own spew. After a moment, she felt a soft sigh escap her, and gently moved to lift his shirt over his head then unbuckled his pants for him. She tugged them off, then pointed towards the warm bath. "Go on, go get cleaned up," she whispered after a moment.

Kai nodded absently, getting into the bath, but just staring blankly at the wall.

Cam watched him for a moment, although her eyes soon landed on the mess in the floor. She sighed and moved to start cleaning it up until tit was all gone. She looked back over to Kai, her brows pinching together as she walked over and gently started to pour small handfuls of water into his hair to start getting some of the vomit out. She watched his face for a moment, and leaned in to press a gentle kiss to his temple once she'd washed the shampoo out. "I'm sorry - for overreacting," she whispered softly.

Kai looked up at her with big, sad eyes. "Im so sorry... for everything..." he whispered. "I just... i want a family, not heirs..."

Cam shook her head at him after a moment, running her fingers gently through his hair. She let out a slow breath, her mind flipping at the thought of it all. She hated making him upset, but how did he not see that was what she wanted? "Malakai," she whispered softly to him after a moment. "I wouldn't have asked again unless I wanted a family," she murmured quietly. "And I want that with you. So when you couldn't even kiss me or..." she trailed off shaking her head. She hated it, all of it.
