Sage felt a wide grin cross his face when the girls blush practically lept out of her face. She was definitely flustered, and more so than she was letting on. He was planning to toy with the girl a bit more, but then she flirted back, and her lips brushed his and everything else went out the window. He did manage to him again and press himself into the girl's body before slipping a hand under her chin and on her face before kissing the girl deeply and slowly. If she wanted to go that direction, well, he'd go way far down that direction. And no doubt the girl would enjoy it. She'd better, because he didn't think he'd be doing this all that often.

A slight squeak escaped the girl when a hand slipped under her chin and the boy went in for a kiss... her heart was definitely going by then. She closed her eyes before resting a hand on the back of his neck and kissing the boy back just as deeply, a slight smile on her face as she did so. It was safe to say that this was more than what she'd been expecting, but she wasn't going to fight it, not when the chances were she wouldn't get this all too often. Though, she wasn't going to give him any more than he was giving her... not because she didn't want to, but rather because she wasn't sure how far this was going.

Sage let the kids go on for quite some time, admittedly not wanting to detach himself from the girl. She seemed to be enjoying it, and the squeak that came from her had really only driven him on more. They couldn't really afford to linger though, or go in with this, as much as he might want to, though, so eventually he lifted his head up and rolled off of the girl with a slight chuckle. He pecked the girl on the cheek before murmuring "find me when you're ready" and slipping out the door to leave the girl to calm down on her own. If he was being honest, he needed to sit down in his own room and calm down too, before finding Charlotte.

A slight whimper of complaint escaped the girl when he pulled away, and almost reached out to pull him back in, though, they really did need to get going. "See you in a bit," she murmured, though her voice seemed a bit breathy. She watched him leave then rolled onto her back with a bit of a sigh, covering her forehead and giving a quiet chuckle as she got her breath back... she still had a stupid grin on her face, too, because of the stupid boy that, for some reason, she loved. After about five minutes of just laying there, though, the girl forced herself up to go and tend to whatever her mother had in store for her.

Sage flipped down on his bed and took a deep breath before getting up and pacing back and forth until he calmed down enough to leave his room and go seek out Charlotte. It was probably about ten minutes, maybe fifteen of waiting. Once he did calm down though, he strode though the hallways eager to see Charlotte. She was eager to see him too, apparently, because when she saw him coming she squealed and bottled from her parents side to leap at him with a huge hug. He caught her mid air and spun her around a few times as the girl screamed with laughed before setting her down again, a huge grin on his face. She grabbed his hand and slipped back in the direction of her parents, ready babbling happily as she went.

Just as the girl had expected, her mother had stacks of papers to run around, along with having to sit in a particularly long meeting and be... well, silent. Some of the things her mother would say made the silence bit hard, but somehow the girl managed. About three hours passed, and the girl was pretty much running around the castle giving things to people and signing things for her mother. The woman still insisted that it was good for her, but she couldn't quite get how carrying stacks of paper back and forth was at all helpful. Surely the woman had a maid to do that. Though once the queen finally let her go, the girl went straight to the kitchens to ask for a little picnic to be made up before going up to her room to pick up a couple of blankets and dug out one of Luther's slightly warmer shirts for Sage to wear while they were out... he'd just gotten better, so there was no way she was going to let him get sick again.

Sage went along with Charlotte willingly, and he was more than content to play with the girl for a while. She got some dolls out at one point, which really he didn't understand all the makeup on them and why she was so keen on dressing them up. But Liz had liked that kind of thing too, so maybe it was just something seven year old girls did he just had to get used to. And he didn't really mind, even when the girl insisted she do his hair and started messing with pulling it out of his face. It was amusing, and his hair really couldn't get any worse anyway, so he was fine to let the girl play.

Soon enough, the kitchen gave the girl a pretty big basket of food... she still wasn't sure what exactly Sage liked, so there was a bit of everything in there, along with a couple of drinks of water for the two. She did think briefly about asking Luther if he'd want to come, but that'd be Sages call... this was kind of a personal thing, and while she hadn't known Liz too long, she had at least met the girl, and she assumed Luther wouldn't exactly be the best to empathize with what might happen down at the lake... Sage had said he was worried that he'd flip a switch and go, well, mad on her, and she wasn't too sure if Luther would be as forgiving with the boy if he ended up hurting her. She carried the basket down to wherever she assumed Sage to be before poking her head through the door and spotting... whatever Charlotte was doing to Sage. She cocked her head before giving a small smile. "You look pretty," she chirped lightly, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Sage wrinkled his nose and stuck his tongue out at the other girl teasingly. "I don't think I'm the best model but she insisted," he chuckled. Charlotte giggled and dumped another handful of flowers over his head and he rolled his eyes slightly, amused at the girl's antics. She poked one last flower behind his ear and stepped back with a giggle. "Done," she announced happily. Sage chuckled and stood up, taking the flower from behind his ear and putting it behind Anyas ear. "I think this looks better on her," he mused. Charlotte nodded and gave sage a look "you're not very pretty," she admitted. He chuckled and patted the girls shoulder. "Nope. But I gotta go with Anya now, so why don't you go grab some lunch?" Charlotte ran over to give him a big hug and peck on the cheek before running off happily to do who knows what. Sage turned to Anya and glanced at the huge basket the girl held. "You ready?"

The girl gave a slightly nod, though there was a bit of a blush on her face from when he tucked the flower behind her ear. "Yeah, lets go," she hummed lightly before making her way down the halls. They got a little way before the girl gently poked his side. "For the record, I think you're very pretty," she teased lightly before gesturing to the basket. "I wasn't sure what you wanted, so the kitchens just put a bit of everything in there... should be something you'll enjoy, even if its just water," she murmured with a slight chuckle. "I was wondering if you'd want to go and get Luther? I know he's not exactly close to the whole thing, but you're friends so... I dunno, might be nice." Really, she didn't care either way... it'd probably be better without him, but that was up ro Sage.
