Max just nodded, heading to walk out.

Noah bit his lip feeling awful. Max had offered help, and he just pushed him away. He dragged his feet back up to his bedroom, curling up, but he couldn't fall asleep. He ended up slipping away again and burning again.

Max had been hoping he would stop him and even just say a sentence, yet, he didn't. While the man couldn't force anything out of Noah without looking invading, he was slightly dissapointed he pushed him away. He slipped back under the covers and drifted back off. ~ Emery awoke the next morning, walking to the bathroom to go brush her teeth.

Noah had snuck back into their room, falling asleep just before Em woke up.

Emery didn't eat too much, too absorbed in her thoughts of how Noah had been off lately. Max came in, grabbing a RedBull from the fridge. "Morning," He murmured, Em echoing the word back. She swallowed hard, fidgeting slightly. "Is uhm, is Noah... off, to you?" She asked, glancing up at him. The man considered it for a moment, slowly nodding. "Yeah... just a little bit. He's probably just tired, though. Mid term is coming up anyways, sleep deprivation might be catching up to him." He mused, his sister nodding. "Okay good, because I thought something was actually wrong. Well, i'm off to meet up with my friends to study, then. Tell Noah where I went if he asks," She explained, grabbing her bag before walking out. Max relaxed when she left, sighing. "Came real close to saying it, Max. Real close." The man muttered under his breath, taking a sip of the energy drink.

Noah woke a little later walking downstairs, finding Max. "Hey, whered Em go?"

Max was zoned out, a blank expression on his face which he changed when he heard somebody talking to him. "Hm? Oh, she went to go study with her friends for the mid term. They're all in the same class so, might as well study together." He mused

"Oh.. okay," he nodded, going back up to his room and laying down. He wasn't really looking like Noah anymore. His hair had grown out, but he didn't want to dye it like he normally did. He got the ends cut so there was no more color, just his natural roots and blonde tips. His eyes were hollow, tired and his cheeks and lips didn't have any more color to them.
