Sage grinned at the girl. "Well, if I called you ugly it wouldn't help things now would it?" Really, he thought she was beautiful...cute at times, especially when she got annoyed or exasperated with someone. Not mad...that was scary...but annoyed. As long as it wasn't really with him. But he could tease the girl, and pretend like he was calling her ugly. "And I'm not really in the position now to say I always hated you," he joked. "I'd probably end up dead in the bathtub, which sounds awfully ironic to me."

The girl wrinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out playfully at the boy. "Look at you, trying to keep your life, how sweet," she teased before pecking him on the nose. "But, I do suppose I'd rather not share a bathtub with a corpse," the girl pouted before briefly wrinkling her nose at him. She cocked her head a little at the boy... she wasn't sure what was going on, or why he was quite so mischievous this morning, but she had to say that she rather liked it... this Sage was a bit of fun, she had to admit that. Since he'd gotten out of the slums, she'd noticed him becoming more and more... childlike. And it wasn't a bad thing. It was more like he was acting his age now. "Well, I don't think I fell in love with you because of your stellar personality." She scoffed sarcastically, a clearly mocking tone in her voice. "Try those amber eyes and all of your ruggedly handsome features," she purred teasingly.

Sage snorted in amusement and gave the girl a grin. "I too think I'm much more helpful to you alive," he joked. He slid over to sit next to the girl and curl up alongside her, resting his head on her shoulder. "Awwww, you think I'm prettyyyyy," he giggled, teasing the girl lightly. In all honesty, if she liked the way he looked now, that was probably as good as he'd ever look....well fed, plenty of exercise, decent sleep....he had to admit he did look pretty good and the girl seemed to think so too.

The girl gave a slight grin and offered a nod. "I might," she giggled before pressing a kiss to his forehead. "I've always thought you're handsome," she hummed lightly before brushing her hands up his torso, "Just even more so now," she added with a grin. She really did think he looked better than ever... just being out of the slums and having some good food had done him a world of good. She could honestly say that she wasn't looking forward to him leaving, not just because she wouldn't get to see him as much, but also because he'd loose his condition again, and he'd probably feel it more now that the boy had been healthy.

Sage chuckled, a light blush painting his face when the girl started rubbing her hands over his body. He still wasn't really used to compliments, so he just kind of gave the girl a type of grin and cuddled up a bit more in the warm water. (It's short I'm out)

(Don't worry lol. I've been clipping horses all day so haven't been on much) Anya gave a small smile when the boy curled in again, but kept on running her hand up and down his torso in an almost soothing way. She did know the boy wasn't overly used to being cared for just yet, which included compliments, but she did hope that someday he'd be sick of them all. In truth, she wouldn't be too upset if he went back out there and found someone else... not because she didn't love him, but rather because he'd have someone to tough it within the slums with. She couldn't do that with him, and she did feel almost... guilty about it, in a way.

Sage was more than content to sit in the warm water and air and curl up with Anya. In all honesty, the cuddles and tiny touches, like what Anya was doing now, was really the best part of their relationship. Just the feeling of safety they felt with eachother. Anya wasn't a fighter, but she still protected him. He knew she felt like she couldn't do much, but she'd already helped him so much...she even protected him physically by standing up to his father and convincing her mother to allow him in the castle. She'd saved his life, probably more than he'd saved her, if he was being honest. He wished she wouldn't worry about that so much, but it did show she cared.

They sat quietly for a little while, comfortable in the warm water, more than happy just... being with each other. She found that they pretty much did this any chance they could get, when at least one of them wasn't in danger. After a little bit, the girl gently patted his side with a soft sigh. "You ready to go or do you wanna stay put for a while?" The girl questioned softly. She almost whispered, really... it had been so quiet, it almost seemed... wrong to speak any louder. She didn't really mind if they stayed or got up, though. They could stay and just relax, or mess about and tease a bit, or go do whatever they had to get done, done.

Sage thought for a moment and shrugged. The water had, admittedly, started to cool off a bit, so it was best to get out before it cooled off completely. "We can get out and cuddle on the bed for a bit before we leave I suppose," he mused. "Sitting in lukewarm water doesn't sound all that incredibly nice, even with you," he chuckled, amused at the thought. Anya was great, but that didn't mean he wanted to sit in cold water when they could be cozy in the bed.

The girl gasped at his coo before giving him a sarcastic glare. "And I thought you loved me!" She scoffed before giving a slight chuckle, making her tease apparent. Cold water wasn't exactly appealing... not for anyone, especially when they had a warm bed to sit in. She sighed and tapped his head to move before quietly getting out the bath and grabbing a towel and wrapping herself up before chucking Sage one too. They quickly dried off before chucking their clothes on and making their way back towards Anyas bed... they couldn't be too long at all, or people would get curious as to where they'd be.
